Meet Jerome Henderson

I was about to post this, until I saw this thread. This is a great interview. Love this guy.

Check out his smile when Claiborne is mentioned around 4:05 mark. He has to hide it.

The kind of coach these guys need. Hands on approach....I love it.:)

What's NOT to like about this guy? Good little interview there.

This guy is going to be great. I loved the part about the DB's will be fighting all the way through the play. It sounds like they will be taught that they have a right to the ball too. I also liked the comment about when they come back the next time he will know who's been working on what they are being taught and who hasn't. And shame on them it they haven't. Accountability!

To be honest, I am most impressed by how he answered the Mike Jenkins question. Hopefully, Jenkins will be equally impressed by how his coach respects him off the field and outside of gameday.

I don't understand how Campo stayed around so long. When most of our DBs are not looking to play the ball in the air- that is horrendous coaching. This cahange was LOOOOONG overdue.

Henderson certainly gives an excellent first impression. He definitely seems extremely bright, well organized and appears to pay great attention to detail. His communication skills are impressive. I'm encouraged that he'll do well working with our guys in the secondary.

Me too. Did you noticed he repeated the answer twice? And he started out the interview with, 'it's a process'. He's like another Garrett.

He seems pretty enthusiastic and bright. Great addition along with Callahan.

Best move of the offseason is still getting rid of Campo. Never liked teh poodle.

This guy is clearly an upgrade, but his wife probably would be too.

Yep. Which is sometimes a necessary precaution for anyone being interviewed nowadays, unfortunately. Kinda reduces the chance of being misquoted or having your comments abbreviated by soundbite.
