Melbourne to host first-ever NFL regular season game in Australia in 2026; Rams designated team

Yeah so, as said in the original thread title and the whole point of posting it here, the Cowboys are a possibility to play in Australia in 2026.

That's some serious frequent flier miles just to play a game.

The league should ask the Aussies who they would rather see.

A flight from L.A. to Australia takes 15 hours. New York City is 22 1/2 hours. Dallas is 17 hours. (not sure why NYC takes so long)

A flight from L.A. to London is 11 hours, NYC is 7 hours & Dallas is 9 hours.

I don't see Australia being a regular NFL site.

My guess would be that all east coast teams will be removed as a possible opponent. I’ve flown to Sydney, Australia twice while living in California…that flight ain’t no joke lol. And it looks like Melbourne is an even longer flight (or “Melbun“ as the woman I was involved with over there pronounced it). Both teams better have a bye afterwards.

QB will throw the ball and it will boomerang back to him!

Just when you thought the NFL could not get any dumber, they do.

Lon Haul flights are not healthy.
I vote NO for the Cowboys to agree to such a deal.
But if Jerry sniffs side money making opportunities down under, he'll bite, and fly down there.
Like I said, it's unhealthy to go on long haul flights.
Go ahead and go... I changed my mind !!!
