Honestly, he should be happy. I wouldn't have ranked him that high. He's an overrated underachieving volume shooter that plays no defense. I don't know off hand how many playoff games he's won but I'm pretty sure you can count it on one hand.

Most NBA stars now days are pretty much high volume shooters with little to no defense.

Except he's a volume shooter who misses a lot. Last time I checked he was like around 30% Shooting from the field

Beyond Steph Curry most guys are, NBA players today do not like contact, why make millions getting bounced around inside when you can make millions clanging off the rim from the arc.

I don't understand your point. Curry is one of the best shooters of all time and plays a different position entirely. Anthony isn't even a top player at his position. Woopee dee doo, he won a scoring title like 5 years ago.

Anthony has never been about winning, he was always about Anthony. He wanted max deals, he wanted out of Denver to play for the knicks and so forth. He had 1 legitimate team in NY that could contend when he had JR smith (I think he won 6th man of the year that year,) Kidd(coming off winning with the chip with the mavs,) and chandler (can't remember if it was the year he won DPOY or the year before.) Anthony was subpar that year and was like 26% from the field.

You can't win with him and he only hurts your team.

My point is the NBA has evolved into this score as much as you can the clock being the only defense. Steph is by far the best player in the league right now and I can't stand him. But all star players are in love with the jumpshot whether a guard or forward of center. Melo is just the typical NBA star player that gets his and mails it in from there.

He is also a team cancer like all "Me" players are.

Oh I get your point now. I agree the league has changed but for the changes that has happened Anthony should be excelling but he isn't. Regardless, Anthony is overrated and will continue to shoot 40 shots a game but only making 15 while taking up 100 million in salary

Now he has another running mate that is overrated that is just accurate as he is.

Who cares what Melo thinks he's all about himself. If he played any defense he'd be ranked higher, also he's gotten tons of money and won nothing. He said he preferred 3 gold medals to a championship that's because he knows he won't win one. The point of the game is winning and he's a loser.

Where are you getting those shooting percentages from. When has Anthony 26% from the field?

He comes across as arrogant. He is a great player but his game is predicated on the outside game and as most great jump shooters go he is probably the best but when the legs and back start going so will his game.
