Editor's note: This mock draft was updated at 6 p.m. ET based on the latest information from sources in the league, including the Browns' decision that they plan to take Myles Garrett at No. 1.

1. Cleveland - Myles Garrett DE Texas A&M
2. San Francisco - Jamal Adams S LSU
3. Chicago - Solomon Thomas DE Stanford
4. Jacksonville - Leonard Fournette RB LSU
5. Tennessee (L.A. Rams) - Marshon Lattimore CB Ohio St.
6. N.Y. Jets - O.J. Howard TE Alabama
7. L.A. Chargers - Deshaun Watson QB Clemson
8. Carolina - Christian McCaffrey RB Stanford
9. Cincinnati - Jonathan Allen DL Alabama
10. Buffalo - Haason Reddick LB Temple
11. New Orleans - Derek Barnett DE Tennessee
12. Cleveland (Philadelphia) - Mitch Trubisky QB North Carolina
13. Arizona - Mike Williams WR Clemson
14. Philadelphia (Minnesota) - Charles Harris DE Missouri
15. Indianapolis - Takkarist McKinley DE/OLB UCLA
16. Baltimore - Corey Davis WR Western Michigan
17. Washington - Malik Hooker S Ohio St.
18. Tennessee - John Ross WR Washington
19. Tampa Bay - Cam Robinson T Alabama
20. Denver - Ryan Ramczyk T Wisconsin
21. Detroit - Jarrad Davis LB Florida
22. Miami - Reuben Foster ILB Alabama
23. N.Y. Giants - David Njoku TE Miami
24. Oakland - Kevin King CB Washington
25. Houston - Patrick Mahomes QB Texas Tech
26. Seattle - Tre'Davious White CB LSU
27. Kansas City - Evan Engram TE Mississippi

28. Dallas - Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama
The Cowboys' secondary was depleted in free agency. Humphrey, my second rated corner, has elite upside. Dallas also will be keeping an eye on pass rushers. This is a defensive draft for Jerry & Co.

29. Green Bay - Forrest Lamp G Western Kentucky
30. Pittsburgh - Budda Baker S Washington
31. Atlanta - Jordan Willis DE Kansas St.
32. New Orleans (New England) - Adoree Jackson CB USC

Of course he has us going CB. Mel always has us going CB.

That being said, Humphrey over Jackson would be OK by me.

Yes and no. Not crazy about either and Bama CB's tend to struggle in the NFL.

So do USC CBs. Shoot, name the last USC skill player that was drafted fairly high and became a real good player?

If Humphrey falls to us, I'm fine with that

I notice that McDowell, Watt and Jackson were still available though.

Alabama cornerbacks are not all alike categorically. If you can come up with some commonality that makes them fail then sure but this critique makes no real sense.
One thing I have noticed with Jackson and Kirkpatrick was that they struggled early in their career. Sample size is too small to call it a trend though

Probably because Alabama's defensive line is always dominant. Pressure makes so-so corners look better than they are.

Honestly if McDowell falls to us (which every mock draft says he will), I'll be pretty upset if we pass on him. And just for the record, I'm in favor of Jackson over Humphrey.
