The Cowboys' secondary was depleted in free agency. Humphrey, my second rated corner, has elite upside. Dallas also will be keeping an eye on pass rushers. This is a defensive draft for Jerry & Co.

Yes and no. Not crazy about either and Bama CB's tend to struggle in the NFL.

Dre is a starter but he's an average starter that took years to get to that point.

Alabama cornerbacks are not all alike categorically. If you can come up with some commonality that makes them fail then sure but this critique makes no real sense.

One thing I have noticed with Jackson and Kirkpatrick was that they struggled early in their career. Sample size is too small to call it a trend though

Probably because Alabama's defensive line is always dominant. Pressure makes so-so corners look better than they are.

Honestly if McDowell falls to us (which every mock draft says he will), I'll be pretty upset if we pass on him. And just for the record, I'm in favor of Jackson over Humphrey.
