Melvin Gordon to Eagles?

IGGLES literally cant afford him. Atlanta and San Fran MAYBE. San Fran has a real need. So does Green Bay. Texans lack resources now to pull it off. San Fran has Coleman..but is he an every down back like Gordon? NOPE. Green Bay could really use him.

I hate Green *ay (alliteration) and wish them and their putrid fans nothing but defeat and filth...

The website looks very TMZ like...…...

"OMG WHAT DOES IT MEAN? I don’t know, probably nothing"

So few teams are in need of a good but expensive RB

think Green Bay feels they hit a home run with Aaron Jones. Plus two other decent backups

San Fran has Coleman and Breida—who had almost as good a hear as Gordon did last year. Two young versatile backs

Atlanta has DevonteFreeman back this year, but like Gordon, he does get hurt a lot. Maybe

Houston would be ideal but they’ve given up so much already.

Tampa’s back are subpar

We can afford him easily, Fire your sources

lol...I know we can afford him...but why would we do that? That's comical. We already have Zeke,Morris and Pollard. We will not be committing resources to that position any further barring injury.

We have 20 million in cap space. We can afford him and then some
he wants over 20 mil front loaded and paid out in signing bonus alone. That's why SD has balked. Unless there are some shady dealings, you all don't have the money to give him up front.

That money is prorated.

No, you can't.
You could fit him under the cap THIS YEAR, but you can't afford him and you have zero resources to trade.
The fact you Philly bums believe you have done a good job of roster mgmt is hilarious.
That team is leveraged to the hilt.
You goofballs have cap tied up for 2 more seasons beyond this.
That 19M of cap space to rollover is really all you have to work with for about 3 seasons.
You wouldn't spend it on Clowney and would be insane to spend it on Gordon.

I never said it was a good idea, but we could do it. And we have plenty to trade, we'll be getting a 3 for Foles, a 4 for Tate, and a 5 for Michael Bennett. 9 draft picks in the first 5 rounds. Plus, if we're getting Gordon then we'd have multiple rbs to trade back in return, most of all Jordan Howard.

You can't trade picks that aren't awarded lol.
Those are not set at all yet and change for weeks.
Cost plus performance plays in.
And of course you forget the comp pick cancellation formula.

This Philly source has you gaining only a single 3rd rounder. More likely I'd guess you end up with a 3 and 5 but again you can't tell right now and you badly NEED picks to fill out the roster because you have no cap cash for 2 more seasons after this one.

But that's not really the issue so much as you have 19 FA next season with about 10M in cap next year, lol.
That's a tragedy of old Commander proportions. The 19M in space is badly needed to rollover to next year.

Howard is only signed for one season so offers fairly little value.

Philly has been making tough cap decisions now for about 2 years and will continue to do so.
The Howard to Gordon net upgrade is not large enough to give up what little flexibility they have.

Eagles fans already sleeping on Miles Sanders, huh...

0% chance this is happening. The Eagles value RB less than most teams and they are well set up with Howard, Sanders etc,
