I appreciate BobHaze.His post are par or exceed anything professional sports writers publish.
I agree! @Bobhaze is an excellent writer and always puts things into historical perspective. I can tell you that I was born a Cowboys fan because of my dad and my older brother who happens to be @Bobhaze! It is likely that I had a blue and silver rattle along with a Tom Landry picture in my crib. My older brother continues to inspire me and he is just a great person. Thanks for the mods for creating this thread.

This could have been an epic tl;dr post appreciating 100+ members. I certainly appreciate the site owner, the past and present staff, members who provide article and video content and engaging conversation, etc. The thread is up to six pages and while I have not read every post, I know many have already expressed appreciation for their fellow members.

Perhaps he has already gotten the recognition already in the thread but I wanted to appreciate one particular member, who is not often thanked for his contribution to CowboysZone:

@Clove

The site devotes threads to every Cowboys game. During many of those games, Clove has provided play-by-play posts. He has devoted his own time for a number of seasons helping members, who do not have access to the game, know what is happening in-game and have a feel of the game they cannot see. What might seem inconsequential to those of us actually at the game or watching the game from our sofa at home, does mean something to those left out of the experience.

Not certain how long he will continue the practice but I do appreciate what he has done up to now. Thanks Clove.

Want to give a shout out and props to some more great members. Honestly, there are way too many for me to list but in my second version I want to recognize these folks:

@Runwildboys- great sense of humor, insightful, loyal and great contributor to the “Morning Pops” thread which is one of the most positive places to go in this forum.
@Xelda- a really cool and fun poster I often interact with in “Morning Pops”. A real encourager and kind soul.
@G2 @nd @ESisback- also great players at “Morning Pops”.
@TwoDeep3- a very dedicated, insightful poster who PMs me occasionally with some really good ideas.
@Haimerej- an insightful sojourner from the old Cowboys site who somehow kept the cool nameless profile pic from there. Always holds me accountable, lol.
@Captain-Crash- a great Cowboys fan who has no problem keeping it real.
@MarcusRock- appreciate his well-researched reminders that the refs aren’t out to get us…and he has receipts.
@Sarge- one of the most loyal, hardworking mods on here. Does a lot of good most people never see.
@Stash, @Idgit, @jazzcat22, @big dog cowboy, @MichaelWinicki, @DallasEast and all the hard working mods here! They’re heroes!
@plasticman- a loyal, wise, longtime Cowboys fan!
@Shinaoi- thanks for the encouragement!

The list never ends!

how many idiots like me have read each post to see if their name is on the list LOL. I am not active nor insightful enough to be, but many on here have lots of great insight into the finer points of this team and football in general

Appreciate Khiladi's indepth QB analysis supported by film.
Appreciate CaptainCrash's blunt no filtered honesty with occasional sarcasm.
Appreciate Risen's sarcasm and straight to the point answers.
Appreciate fivetwos unique ability to point out obvious team flaws in a civilized way that both sides of a topic can agree with.
Appreciate Mountaineer's debating style.
Mod Bob's no excuses and respect is earned in the playoffs opinion.
Mod CouchCoach's ability to point out details that are very important to team success that many, including myself miss sometimes.
Mod Jake's seeing is believing/show me don't tell me mantra as the 27 yr Lombardi drought continues.
Plenty more fellow zoners who also deserve my appreciation and receive consistent likes from me here but I'm tired of texting, lol.

Yup, people can disagree with @MountaineerCowboy, but that dude never uses masked profanity during a debate and tries to keep it about the message rather than the messenger. Very civil guy.

@Risen Star

Funniest guy on this forum by a sizeable margin. And there are some funny people on here

Guy makes me laugh and a lot of times he'll post something and my first thought is "wish I'd thought of that"

Humor needs to be appreciated more

@Reality who makes it all go. Every mod but particularly @Bobhaze @Jake @jazzcat22 game day work.

And wait for it......every one one of you. There is not one of you I have on ignore. Seriously not kidding.

The draft zone is the best. Too many great posters to mention. Let's hope we aren't focused on that in about 12 hours.
Like you, I have never used the ignore feature for any poster ever.

Too many to include on a list, and I would without a doubt forget a few that should be on the top of my faves if I tried to construct one, so I won't construct a list.

I love being able to experience all opinions, the Yin and Yang off all posters in this great Cowboys Collaboration of fandom, rather I personally agree or not.

I have changed my opinion several times over all these years of being a part of this group of fans, and it's because I read all perspectives, all opinions and positions that posters stand on.

Having an open mind and not becoming stagnant in one's own self beliefs is the baseline for becoming more educated, even if you do not agree with another posters message, I personally choose to hear all sides and learn from a debate of opinions, that is what makes this house a beautiful place.

I give more likes than I actually post these days, but my life would be less if I couldn't come here.

Bless this house and bless these fans, this is a community of Die Hard Cowboy Fans.

I honestly pay more attention to the funny and creative avatars than the members name, so if I started naming people I'd leave countless out. I think that everyone on here deserves at the very least a participation medal...I've never been on a site in my life that is so respectful to one another. Since my glass is always half empty, that's enough attaboys. :muttley:
