If any of you are reading this post, I have two requests of you.

1. Please ask both Romo and Holley what Romo was saying to Holley on the sideline before they began the Romo to Holley show.

2. Please ask Rob Ryan about the pictures on his play sheet (assuming it wasn't photoshopped.:laugh2:

We can all speculate on what Romo was saying, but I'd like to know for sure. It sure looked like leadership to me.

I forgot to mention. If any of you have media contacts would you please pass this request along? I'd appreciate it.

Amen! BTW, those are great questions. I'd love to hear the answers to them!

Not a media member nor that I am any great lip reader but it appeared that he was telling Holley--I am going to be looking at you often.

Yeah, right. One of the coelenterates will again ask if Dez yelled at his girlfriend after a preseason game.

See, this is where they should do their job and they don't.

Thanks, Brain. I really would like to see these questions answered.

It was absolutely leadership on Romo's part, but I doubt if either player would divulge the actual conversation. Athletes seem to be mum about what goes on in meetings and sideline conversations. Unless one of them was miked, we'll probably never know.

Holley had a phone interview on First Take today and said he was telling Romo that he was ready. Tony audibled out of the original play (Holley was supposed to run a 14 yard hitch) and called that one because Romo thought Holley was.

Yeah, I heard that. But the convo I'm talking about was the one where Romo was doing all the talking. Holley said he went to the coaches and said "I'm ready". But Romo seemed like he was pumping Holly up and giving him some direction on what to expect. But that's speculation on my part. I'd like to know for sure.

Pretty bad when people have to request the media do the job they are getting paid to do. It's not like it is off season with not much to work with.

It was the very same conversation according to Holley:
Take us to the sidelines. What did Tony Romo tell you before you went into the game and what’s going through your mind at that very moment?

“He’s talking, but the thing is people can’t see me and what I am saying to him. The whole time he is talking I am over talking him saying ‘I’m ready. I’m ready. I’m ready.’ He’s going ‘I know. I know, but on the…’ I said ‘I am ready. I am ready.’ I kept telling him and I said in my head ‘I am ready.’ I’m shaking my head going ‘I am ready. I am ready.’ I told coach [Jason] Garrett that and I told coach [Jimmy] Robinson that. When we got on the plane I asked him [Tony Romo] about that particular play because he called a play in the huddle that wasn’t the play call that coach Garrett called in the headset. I asked him ‘What made you change the play?’ He said well you told me that you were ready? I felt like you had one in you, so I changed it.”
