Until the Cowboys can run a screen play that doesn't lose yards, it should be scrapped from the playbook.

Worst screen team in the league.
I really meant more wheel routes to the RB's (Pollard) like someone posted earlier. look at what we did vs Minnesota

We'll make sure to drop them both a line about this. I feel a change coming.

I would add more hurry up offense and roll outs for Dak…

Oh and it’s ok to run same successful play until they stop you. Then run it again with a twist.

6. This team is terrible at running screen passes, please stop calling them it is a drive killer
Yes, I cannot remember one screen play that was worth the time of calling it.

The problem is the Cowboys still like to think it's the 1990s and that the only obstacle between losing and winning is "execution".

For me, I really hate when they throw short of the first down marker which adds two failure points to a single pass instead of one. The receiver has to catch it and also elude tacklers to get a first down.

I also hate comeback routes. I would not mind them if 50% of the time the receiver stopped, turned back to the quarterback and then spun around and took off toward the end zone.

At least that way when the receiver turns around the defender, who can see the ball coming, has to hestitate to make sure it's not a stop-turn-and-go move.

You mean the great JG special?

Why don't like this awesome play where the defenders can just watch the QB and then break on the ball and tackle the receiver or break up the pass easily?

1. it's time to change up the signals, and tendacies out of certain formations
2. run the ball more, and throw more RB screens especially to Pollard
3. delete all these double reverse type runs
4. how about an occasional bubble to screen to Turpin
5. more 3 step drops with the ball coming out

Finally....If I was KM, I would study the Eagles offense very hard, and incorporate some of what they are doing into our playbook, the Eagles offense is almost unstoppable, and they get after you in multiple ways
Just play football to win the next several games. No need to show your hand.

That's EXACTLY what I am talking about.

I could understand those routes if they ran a lot of stop-turn-back-turn-and-go-long, but they run so many of those "run to a point, stop and turn and see if the quarterback throws to you" plays that it gives the advantage to the defensive backs.

Even if they want to run those plays, they just need to add some variations .. for example ..

Player "A" could take off toward the corner of the end zone .. Player "B" could float in his area.

Prescott could then pump fake to Player "B" and see if the defensive back at the top bites. If he does, then throw to player "A" for the touchdown. If not or he follows Player "A", then throw to Player "B" and take the 10 yards.

In other words, do something other than sit, wait and hope.

Turpin is dead to me after he single handedly killed the momentum last Sunday.
