Mens, tykes and fellow probationers, it is time to clean out your lockers at the Zone.
The offseason beckons. No more Cowboys, thanks to the Clown Wade Phillips (see the 1,000 anti-Wade posts below) and no more football until camps begin this spring and then summer.
You might be wondering by now:
"Hmmmm. What does Gimme do in the offseason to keep up his fine fisike and muscle tone and where can I get a Stetson like his?"
Well, my regimens is to wake up ever morning (that is the most important part of my regimens) and as usual, thank the Lord I did wake up and exclaim "Boy howdy, do I smell waffles in the kitchen?" More often than not, they is not waffles but the burnt menudo our souffle in the pan from the night before.
But I go for a one-mile run (don't ever overdo nothing I always say, along with "Boy howdy, do I smell waffles on the jogging track?"
I also do some lifting of free weights and take care of my feet.
What will you fine mens be doing this offseason to keep in football shape and keep the mind occupied until the camps roll around?
Will you be a stranger at this Zone?
Will you be working out?
Will you be scouting and penciling in prospects from your area coleges?
Will you be cooking waffles to surprise me on my birthday?
I am curious to know iffin youse have lives outside of this Zone.
