this team right now lacks mental toughness. they are folding under pressure of the expectations. we saw that a couple of years back. they went 13-3, in an underdog role. the year after they folded under the pressure of expectations.
again last year they made it in an underdog role. and this year they are folding again. that's lack of true leadership on the team. I like romo, I think he is great. I like his attitude. but he became the leader by default. after all he is the QB. but the whole team lacks the mental toughness and doesn't seem to play with a sense of urgency. and this happens in the absence of tough leadership at the coaching level. it worked for Indy because Peyton Manning is a tough leader. so the coach can be a fatherly figure. it happend with the 1995 cowboys because AIkman was the tough leader, no nonesense, get it done. same with emmitt and irvin. but this team needs a tough minded coach who will lead them and push them and neither wade or JG are that.
this is the most critical week of the season (in week 3 already). if this team folds and somehow loses again (find a way to lose instead of find a way to win), then we are done and its going to snow ball from there and it will turn into a disaster. expectations was we will be 2-0 at this point, given our tough schedule, now we are 0-2 and you can see the panick in their faces.
