It's hilarious. He is bitter old man and I don't blame him. Talking about how the Pats haven't done anything yet, and he's right. He was cracking on Parcells too about that crap last week saying he was acting like Frankie "Five Angels" Pantanglia with who all the Pats would beat. :laugh2:

I actually kind of like morris after all his grandstanding, he hasn't backed down or off, and he hasn't sugar coated anything. Wrong or right I gotta respect a guy like that. Course it helps that I agree with him about most of it.

Morris is right without the championship ring the 16-0 reg season means nothing. I will say this, if the Pats can pull it off they will have surpassed what Miami did when you take into account Miami did not play a lot of good teams and the Pats play in an era where parity was suppose to prevent things like this from happening or at the very least making it harder for things like this to happen.

Regular season and post season are two different animals. No real carry over. Momentum perhaps. But there are 60 mins to a game and numerous plays.... none of which are affected by ANYTHING you did in regular season. ANYTHING can happen.


I never like the records and the amount of games differential.

14 reg season games for Miami - 3 post season
16 reg season games for NE - 3 post season

Just think... if NE wins first playoff game they have numerically matched the 72 Dolphins feat. They have to play 2 extra games to get undefeated season she-banger!

I think the main differance though is the NFL has pushed parity over the last several years and yet the Pats have managed to put together this perfect season. During the time of Miami perfect season that was not the case. Which is why I feel this would be the greater accomplishment. Hopefully that will not be the case and our Cowboys will knock them out of the history book.
