both could gain 1000 yards on the ground. It has not been done since Kevin Mack and Earnest Byner did it in Cleveland (i think 87/88).

If not what about a combined 2000 yds?

I'll shed a tear of joy if it happens but I doubt that tear will be shed.

I think a combined 2000 yards is a far more realistic goal.

I just hope Felix sees this many carries in a game again without Barber having to get hurt first.

I think 2000 combined is more of a possibility b/c I don't think Felix will get enough attempts for them to rush for 1000 ea. Plus, you have to figure that Choice will eat into their carries a bit when we're running out the clock w/ a big lead.

2000 yds from scrimmage is a sure bet though, imo.

Not a chance with this Offense geared towards passing.

I don't know , Tony sounded excited about the fact that they got to play their 4 minute offense. No passing.
Lets hope they keep getting so far ahead that the running game is like icing on the cake.
Wouldn't that be a great season.

I'll give you one hundred to one odds that we won't have two RBs over 1000 yards. I'll put up to 100 dollars on it, which means you'd owe me 1 dollar if I win.

You may be right although odds are against you. They're talented enough and have the line. But I agree with Hos because we're going to pass and be balanced. I'm all in favor of it because it means ball control and being ahead in the game for it to happen. I'm not certain if the game of football hasn't changed too much. I'm asking and not certain what to think.

No chance. Felix wont get enough carries. He may get 1000 all purpose though.

With a 5 yards per carry average that would still mean we would need 400 rushing attempts. Not sure that is going to happen.

Seniorette, take that bet. They'd have to average 62.5yds each. It should be no problem for Barber. It may be a bit difficult for Felix, but he's on the verge of breaking a big one couple times a game. I also think he'll get enough carries late in the game where you may have a decent shot at winning this bet.

I've said it all along that it is a real possibility as long as both stay healthy. Barber will get his 62.5 per game and Felix will be right there. He got 60 with limited carries and very well could have been over 100 easily had it not been for shoe lace tackles. Jones will break a few before its all said and done.

Is it a possiblity? Yes

Is it likely? No

Alot of things have to go in the way of the running game for us to get there. But its a long season and we'll see soon enough

Michael Vick and Warrick Dunn did it a couple of years ago.

I also think that if we wrap up home field early, that Felix will get the bulk of the carries for a couple of games in order to rest Barber. By that time, Barber should have his 1000. It'll be close, but the more I think about it, I think it's a real possibility.

The wild card may be Choice and the # of carries he'll get (which could be a considerable amount considering that he's the better blocking back at the moment).

I would take that bet as well. All your risking is one dollar with the chance to win 100. And if we blow out teams like last year there is going to be a lot of running in the 4th quarter just to run out the clock. Most of that load will be Felix.

Jones may break a few, but we won't always be in a position to give him several carries at the end of a game. Most games will be closer and Romo will throw it more than we did against Cleveland.

More than likely Jones willl be in the 30-50 yard range most games.

I'll take that bet. I'll even paypal you the dollar today if you're serious.
