i didnt get to see the missed kicks but vandys EPs were not very "right down the pipe" either...worrying me a little bit, we should get a kicking coach
 
Vandy has hit the right post on 4 of his misses this year. How strange is that?
 
I'll never understand why he can't make an adjustment since he's misses the kick in the same place time after time. Screw him, bring in Suisham. Much better at kickoffs and just as reliable on fg's.

Yeah, they were wide right when he played for the Colts too.

Parcells sounded pretty PO'd with him after the game.
 
Maybe he needs glasses or to stop drinking before games...
 
Should have signed Vinateiri. Let's see.... we lose several games because of our idiot kicker, so what do we do? Sign another idiot kicker who is known as a choker, struggles on kickoffs and just blew the biggest field goal of his life. For a few more dollars (in billionaire terms :D ) we could have had the game's best clutch kicker, a guy who was shopping around and didn't sign quickly with anyone, and not to mention a player who Parcells was familiar with. I sniff Jerry interference on this one.
 
On one replay, I saw his plant foot at least 6"to 12" in front of the ball. That is not good especially when you are kicking from the right hash. You won't be able to come around on the ball. I am surprised it went as straight as it did, but it definitley was not going to move to the left.

Vinateri signed with the Colts before he even visited here.

I just don't see how everyone assumes that he would have even wanted to come here. He's never mentioned 'Man, wanted to go to the Boys but...'
 
Does anyone know what Cortez is up to? I never thought I would say this but at this point it seems like a toss up between Cortez and Vanderclank. The latter may still be a little more accurtate but with Cortez we are all but gauranteed an opposing starting position on the 20....
 
Vinateri was injured for a while and missed two kicks against the Pats, Vanderjagt is a liability at the moment but it's not like Vinateri hasn't struggled as well.

It may be harder to find a good kicker than it is to find a good QB. And so much hangs on each play of theirs - entire games, seasons, careers, etc.
 
we really should bring in another kicker. Vandy is borderline embarrassing
