Is it possible to get both these guys? Something I've wondered about was when Jerry Jones said trading up this year is something he's considering more than ever, does that mean just in the 1st round though? What if we traded down with lets say San Diego, landed Meriweather at #30 and picked up an extra 3rd rounder, then used that 3rd rounder from San Diego to trade up in the 2nd round and land Jarrett. Getting Meriweather AND Jarrett would be amazing, plus we would still have a 3rd rounder to use. Thoughts?

I would be really really happy and we would be a scary team.

seems possibly yet unlikely.

Wouldn't they be able to use a 2nd and a 4th to move up in the 2nd round? That would give one 1st, one 2nd, and two 3rds. That would be nice, eh?

And by the way, I'm a big fan of getting Ginn, but if we could get Meriweather and Jarrett instead, I would love it!

i could def. live with that also

even though I'm not that high on Jarrett, coming away w/ him in the 2nd round would be a coupe

It's possible.

Let's say the Chargers moved up and gave us their 3rd rounder and we dropped back to #30 and snagged Meriweather. We package that pick and our second rounder, moved back up and select Jarrett somewhere between 35-40.

So it's plausible and something I wouldn't mind us doing (though I'm still on the fence about addressing FS with the addition of Hamlin and Watkins).

Would it be a Coupe de Ville?

I don't think we will be able to get both; I would rather have Merriweather though, Jarrett needs help running his routes so he can be soooo smooth like my man Keyshawn... If we got a reciever in the first, we might be compelled to let T.O. and his bonus go, which would be bad, Jarrett routes are too raw, and we know he is no game-breaker in terms of speed. Merriweather can help immediately, we can have our own version of Brian Dawkins.

exactly...but the beauty of selecting Meriweather would be he can even play cornerback for us because he's so versatile.
