I'm not so sure about that. For one thing I think the score of the Saints game shows that it was for real especially since they had come from behind against other teams in the prior few games.

Secondly, Washington seems to match up pretty well against us regardless of what the records are. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Washington didn't get up and play us tough this weekend. At least I hope that is the approach that the team is taking in preparing for the game.

I'm hoping the Cowboys go into Washington very prepared. Cannot afford to look ahead to the Eagles matchup. Go in, get the win, hopefully fairly convincing. And come out injury free.

I already mentioned in another thread that because of how bad the Giants beat the Skins....the Cowboys would be judged on style points (margin of victory, did we turn it over, did we protect, could we run with ease)...that is one thing this teams has STRESSED they have gotten away from. We need to just win.

I would love to be sound and decisive and avoid injuries. But the Commanders have NOTHING to lose...it will be cold and outdoors...keep Romo safe....pound them....harass Campbell. This could be our last oudoor game/cold weather game this year. That is why things will get very interesting. Sure Philly is in and Green Bay looks to be in. But you also have Arizona, Minny, NO and Dallas. What I am trying to say is we have nothing to prove with Tony Romo torching them for 400 yards. The warm weather venues are on deck and he can resume his thing after this week. The Commanders are a wounded animal and they will try to take Romo out...just bury them with the big uglies

I will take an ugly win any day of the week. A win is a win is a win.

However, if we can only beat that circus in DC by 1 or 2 points, I will be concerned.

When the Cowboys were 8-3, Dallas was winning the division.

When the Cowboys loss two straight in December to go, 8-5, Dallas was done.

Now that the Cowboys beat the Saints, the Cowboys are the team to watch out for.

And we react to what they say like typical yo-yos, bashing this expert, praising that expert all based on what they say about our team.

I don't know about you guys, but I simply can't get all worked up over what some analyst says.

The game is what matters. It's not played in the studio or on fan forums but on the field.

Style points don't mean a thing.

The Skins should've beat the Saints just 2 weeks ago but they missed a field goal.

So while they are terrible they can still be dangerous if they bring it and this Sunday will be their Superbowl.

With that said Dallas has their swagger back and we are going to pummel those fools.
