The fact that everyone does it doesn't make it OK - Bob Dole's point is simply that to act like "Well Merriman's a roider, Ware's officially the better player, end of discussion" based off of this news is ******** because of the amount of players in the NFL on SOME kind of substance - you have no proof that Ware isn't on anything and you have no proof that a non-roiding Ware is better than a non-roiding Merriman.

But I have proof that Ware will help the Cowboys more than Merriman will help the Chargers for the next 4 games, and that Ware is not in jeapordy of missing an entire year if he screws up again.

I just hope that Merriman gets criticized as much as Bonds has the past couple of years even though he has never tested positive. Doesnt mean i dont think Bonds did use him but again he hasnt tested positive except for some cream that he claims that he didnt know what it was. Actually, the 'roids problem in the 70's and 80's is widely documented. It was 10X worse back then, without a doubt.

Other than his character, his upbringing, deep faith, JJ's and Bill's and the personnel dept.'s scouting on him, the baby fat he came in which he had to shed slowly, his equanimity and reserve, and overall demeanor. None of it points to steroids..none of it.

No, we don't know he isn't on steroids, but all signs point to Ware as the ultimate class act.

Casting aspersions on this kid's character doesn't sit well.
