I had 5 bottles of iced tea yesterday, while celebrating with my family (1:00 - 8:30). I went to bed around 11:00, fell asleep around 1:00, and woke up at 2:00. I finally fell back to sleep around 5:00, and woke up at 7:30.Coffee... Santa's friend.
you're not kidding.....Coffee... Santa's friend.
I'm trying to remember based on recollection of discussion from the old True Blue forum but you drive truck for a living don't you?I had 5 bottles of iced tea yesterday, while celebrating with my family (1:00 - 8:30). I don't usually take in much caffeine, so I'm pretty sure the iced tea is the reason for my sleep deprivation.
Now I have to try not to fall asleep until bedtime, because I have to get up for work at about 2 a.m.
Yeah, it's hard for people to understand how someone who gets up anywhere from 1:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., then drives a few hundred miles can do without caffeine. The simple answer: I never used it as a stimulant, so body doesn't depend on it to wake up.I'm trying to remember based on recollection of discussion from the old True Blue forum but you drive truck for a living don't you?
Only asked because you mentioned not drinking much in the way of caffeine. Figured that was part of the daily routine if you drove for your job.....
truth told I'm not really a coffee drinker either. A cup or two a week tops. But I'm like you, not one of these guys who fires up the percolator the minute the alarm goes off.Yeah, it's hard for people to understand how someone who gets up anywhere from 1:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., then drives a few hundred miles can do without caffeine.
