If they bring back the Conman and Dork, it will TOTALLY take fun out of the regular season for me....its fun to have suspense in games and live and die with your team for 17 weeks...and the suspense of living and dying with the success of the other teams in the NFC competing for seeds....this will NO MORE be the case if the Conman and Dork return, because seeding won't mean &*$#....the two of them together have proven that they can lose anywhere and to anybody....I'll have as much confidence in them going into the post season at 10-7 as I would at 17-0.....just think about how crazy that sounds....but its 100% true!!!

No one will buy your product anymore Jerry, if you bring back Dak and or MM. If this team comes back culturally intact, no one will buy that they are a good team, even if they go undefeated.

The media and the fans will realize that the HC and the team will fold at the first sign of a playoff game.

You have been saying that the last 30 years. Fire Switzer, Campo, Romo, Garrett, Dak, and MM. Fans and media come back. I think one of the biggest issues is the Cowboys get hate watched. Fans enjoy watching the Cowboys lose. I bet ESPN and FS1 are setting records the last two days.

He ran it back with Garrett and basically the same team with some cheap FA tweaks and his draft.

He's going to do it again. Dak is back for sure. McCarthy? I think the odds are likely he stays but we'll find out in a few days.

But that would just be more proof that winning is only for the purpose of branding and increasing profitability.

I stopped going to the games, but I still try to watch them all. They make a lot with advertisements, so the only thing is I'll change the channel if its a blowout. The product doesn't matter and really they had a good team this year the offense was #1 and the defense played well all year. Tough lose. I want to think getting Belichick would help them rebuild. Either way they likely they sell the same amount tickets and merchandise.

Wrong. Low I.Q. Dallas fans come back for more every year. Rinse and repeat. Cowboys most profitable era coincides with their poorest post season performances and sheer absence from playoff contention
