Yes. Both teams are actually very good and based on a lot of young talent.
US finally found it's Donovan replacement in Pulisic.
They've got 4-5 other younger guys playing very well and playing in Europe not MLS.
The big name games that returned to MLS guys are all kinda tailing off. --Dempsey, Altidore, Bradley et al.

Mexico is a very good young team. Guardado, Moreno, Peralta the GK all considered elite players and they still have Chicarrito.

FIFA rankings have Mexico 17th and US 23rd.
ELo rankinggs are more accurate IMHO and has Mexico 9th and US 30th.
US was flat terrible for about a year under Klinnsman at the end but has rebounded now largely because Pulisic has been so good.

Mexico is lucky they are not down a man within the first 5 mins of the game. Those were some blatant elbows being thrown by that player that should have been a red card, imo.

I find absolutely distasteful and disrespectful of those fans to boo our national anthem. This isn't England vs France. We are supposed to be neighbors and allies. Booing our team is fine, I boo their team, but show respect for each other's colors, flags, and anthem.

I don't care what chants are said during games.....just don't do it during the anthems. At least both sides should show that much respect for one another.

Good game, not great.
US handled it very tactically. Played a 5-4-1 basically and defended all night.
Mexico lost focus early and put us in that type of parked bus game 5 minutes in on perhaps Bradley's best play since his Dad was fired.

Getting a point at the altitude of Azteca with 90K people is plenty impressive.
Had US started Howard that's 3 points IMHO.
Guzan is on a terrible run of form for an extended period.

US almost certainly through to Russia now with the heavy lifting that's left all on home fields and only 1 top 50 ranked squad remaining in Costa Rica.
