they gave it their all.
more than I can say for wade phillips and his BS excuse for a head coach mentality.
WoodysGirl;2553580 said:Oh give it a rest. Miami is getting their butts handed to them. Turnovers, penalties, and the ball ran down their throat.
I honestly thought they'd play better. Surprised they haven't. Shouldn't be since Baltimore beat them the first time around.
TheCount;2553575 said:Yay, we're not worse than a team than won one game last year!
BigDFan5;2553576 said:They are getting their ***** kicked lol
Were you yelling we should keep Sparano last season after we were 13-3? I am betting on no
BigDFan5;2553592 said:Ummm we played better than this against the Ravens lol
True. It's not a hard concept. The Ravens Defense are much more talented than the Dolphins offense and they let their strengths stay their strengths and dont routinely get outcoached.TheCount;2553593 said:I think Chad's weak hands and their poor receiver play, played perfectly to Baltimore's strengths.
If you want to beat the Ravens, you gotta be willing to slug it out and grind the game to almost a standstill at times. The Dolphins aren't built for that.
Kilyin;2553588 said:Oh, now they're a team that 'won one game last year'. Funny, cause up until today they were 'the comeback team of the year, with the coach of the year, and a definite playoff contender'. Welcome to another episode of 'One and done with Bill Parcells'.
I agree. They could've kept it close by just running. Seemed everytime they threw it, they got a turnover. *smh*TheCount;2553593 said:I think Chad's weak hands and their poor receiver play, played perfectly to Baltimore's strengths.
If you want to beat the Ravens, you gotta be willing to slug it out and grind the game to almost a standstill at times OR you gotta be able to just keep hitting them on big play after big play. The Dolphins aren't built for either style.
hmcorp;2553595 said:I wanted sparano more than anything.
Ive been on cowboys-forum.com spilling my guts about how losing sparano and gaining wade would destory this team for the past two years.
i got bashed for it.
now everyone sounds like I have for the past two years.
The defense is outstanding, but it's also the reason they're 11-5 and not 14-2. They gave up alot of 4th quarter leads by playing prevent and were starting to go down that same path today until that massacre end around handoff. They keep playing like this, they wont make it past the Titans.Ozzu;2553598 said:With that defense, I'm starting to think the Ravens just might make it to the Super Bowl. They'll be in every game.
BigDFan5;2553594 said:last year? umm how about this year

Time to put them to use.
Don't put the game in Tony Romo's hands. Ground and pound with Barber, Jones, and Choice.
It's our best chance of making some noise.
