Last year, Micah Parsons was No. 16 on the NFL Top 100, voted on by the players. This year, he is No. 9.

Lane Johnson: “First of all, he’s like a bobcat on the field. It’s like trying to get your hands on a cat. He had that 4.3-speed coming out of college. He knows how to dip. He’s around 6-foot-2, but he plays really low. You combine that athleticism with the motor that he has and it creates a lot of problems.”

Zack Martin: “Well, I go against this guy in practice every day, so Micah Parsons is as gifted a player as there is in the NFL. He can beat you any way he really wants to. I just don’t think there’s anyone like him in the NFL.”

This isn't the top ten best players. This is the top ten most important players.

How can the 4th ranked quarterback be a better football player than arguably the best defender on the field today? Is Josh Jacobs, Joe Burrow, and Jalen Hurts better at what they do than Micah is at what he does?

I say Micah is a top five, at least. He could even be #2 or #1.

I can't believe that Hurts is in the top 10.

Having a great year is not the same as being one of the greatest players.
- Nick Foles won a Super Bowl...

Players seem pretty impressed with Bears QB Fields talent too. He popped in the top 100. There’s your next Jalen Hurts.

I think they’re right. Was very impressed with that player even though we won. Could see something special growing there.

If he hadn’t worn down by end of year, he would probably be top 5.

All that focus on him bumps him to the top 10. There’s a reason why players like Armstrong weren’t high in sacks until #11.

But to truly be the best, top 5, needs to prove you can’t shut him down with the constant doubles, run audibles, and focus on his location.
