"Won" is winning in the eye of the beholder? Please if I may, can you show your work? Because to most fans when they observe a player whipping there man, the end result is usually not the opposing team putting up a 40 burger. Just saying.

This whole discussion can be boiled down to as simple as "define impact".
If you see that Micah had a dominant game because he beat the guy(s) in front of him more often than not then you see it one way.

If you see that same beating of the man in front of him had no affect whatsoever on the outcome of the offense having gains while he rushed, then you see it the way I do.

Jerry and the kids definitely turned on Micah when it suited their needs.

What shocks me is how we fans will support the behaviours of this man and his resources when he could have just done it a different way.

He could have clammed up, not gotten his kids involved, traded Micah and got his two first round picks.

What was the other crap for? His ego? So a bunch of adoring fans could validate him? Alot of this stuff seems childish. Even from Micah's side...

...but for a billionaire with all his resources why would he stoop so low as to entertain playing in a dirty sandbox like a kindergartner? Where is that something that is along the path of building a SuperBowl winner?

Let's not forget what is the reason we are all here for...to see the Cowboys win another SuperBowl.

They did not get any pressure to speak of even with Micah being chipped and doubled. The Cowboys offense did not struggle due to Micah is the key here. You have to be a difference maker at 47 mil per year!

That basically means all week in every meeting this offensive staff planned an entire strategy to stay away from the guy. LOL.

He is also not counting 47 million against the cap. Not even close. Go look at his cap hits before continuing to spew this nonsense. His contract for lack of a better term is actually very team friendly. When his cap hits get up to those numbers, he is cuttable with limited damage to the cap. Its how smart FO's operate in a cap era. Problem is our FO cant do math unless it is overpaying an injured player.

Spin it how you want, Shotty's O outplayed Gb's suppose ELITE Def. No way our O shows up like this with JG or MM at the helm....

Now as far as defense, Kenny clark was impactful for us. If we actually had a good LB we win this game no questions asked.

Disagree completely, just watch Baldy's video. Green Bay and Parsons in particular had not just pressure, but quick pressures...plus they did it blitzing just 14% of the time. a 14% blitz rate makes Matt Eberflus look like Rob Ryan. I don't think we are giving nearly enough credit to our offensive skill players and our play callers here. They were able to get the football out at an unbelievably quick rate that neutralized GB.

I wish we would use a 5 man front like GB does on occasion.

They Cowboys certainly didn't struggle due to Micah in this one, I agree, but the point is what the Cowboys did offensively is not going to be replicated over a 17 game schedule. This was an incredible effort by Parsons erased simply because it was an even more incredible effort by Dak. Parsons absolutely wrecked our OL on film.

I mentioned this as well in a previous post.
With all the attention and gameplanning for Micah and Dallas starting 2 backup olinemen, there was not another dlinemen, linebacker or secondary player whose performance showed as any benefit to all the attention Micah received.
The other defenders play was not lifted at all.

Ya'll are so silly. The packers have given up more than 20 points a grand total of once this season. They held the best offense in the league to 13 points.

By your own silly logic, the Packers have given up fewer points than Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Micah must be better than Garrett and Watt. Not only that, but the Browns gave up 40 to Baltimore and the Steelers gave up 32 in regulation to the Jets. "Garrett and Watt are overrated and make no impact!!!! Raaawr!!!"

Did you watch the post game interview with Jerry? The host asked Jerry to confirm how the last few hours of negotiations with Micah and his agent went. Jerry confirmed that when Micah caught wind that they were working on a potential trade with the Packers, Micah reached-out to Jerry to try and work out a contract to remain with the team.

So that’s Jerry confirming Micah wanted to stay with the Cowboys.

Well if someone is bashing you with a 3 page note on x and killing your brand in the media by being so blunt about everything, You'd be just as upset like the jones and ship his butt. No contract $$$ will change their views once lines have been cross... Don't come crawling back cause you played the agents game and got shipped away.

Here is a shorter video of Micah's pass rush attempts. I'm at work and slapped this together between actually being productive so no sound, no editing (ignore my cursor going all over), the wifi makes the video a little choppy at times, and I didn't record full plays to try and keep the video under 5 minutes.

Of what I talked about in the previous post Micahs true 1v1 assignments (no chips/no doubles) are:

:04 - pulling guard on a rollout
:30 - Vs Guyton (wish this play had better video quality. Parsons beats Guyton, but Dak snaps the ball at :30 and the ball is out of his hand by :32
:50 - Vs Guyton - Clear win for Parsons but yet again the snap is at :51, throw at :53
:59 - Vs Guyton - Screen so I can't say thats a Parsons win
1:30 - Vs Guyton - We will probably get split decisions on this play, but I'd give it to Parsons. Snapped at 1:31, ball out at 1:34. I'd entertain the argument that Guyton did enough to get him to go around the QB though.
1:40 Vs Steele - Easy Parsons win on the inside move. Once again the ball is out within 2 seconds
2:19 - Vs Smith - Easy swim move for Parsons
2:39 - Vs Guyton - Easy speed move to beat Guyton to the outside
3:24 - Vs Steele - Nice job by Steele
3:33 - Vs Steele - Parsons beat him inside. Once again ball snapped at 3:34, ball out by 3:36
3:40 - Vs Steele - Steele win on a quick pass
3:48 - Vs Thomas - Nice job by Thomas
3:59 - Vs Schoon - Parsons get pressure but due to the play design
4:20 - Vs Ferg - Parsons wins, this is the OT "sack" they gave to Parsons
4:30 - Vs Steele - I'd be open to either side on this one. Parsons walks him back and gets in the face of Dak at the time of the throw, but Steele gave him a solid 4 seconds of protection.

So 15 plays they played Micah straight up in pass pro, a few of those screens or rollouts away from Parsons. I gave him wins on the majority of those with a few up in the air.

He wont ever get home if the QB can get the ball out like Dak did Sunday night. I mean honestly I'm extremely impressed with how many pass attempts came out of Daks hands in 2 seconds or less Sunday. Dak has a history of holding onto the football too long and trying to make a play when its not there....not this season though. He has looked like a prime Brady at times in his ability to get the ball out of his hands. I think you and I could block for him at this rate

Heard on the radio (haven't double checked it myself) that Gary didn't even have a pressure. And Gary is an excellent player himself. Seems incredible when Micah was beating triple teams every down.

I'm loving the playcalling, getting Dak under center, the play action, the rollouts, the formations, etc. It reminds me an awful lot of the offense we ran after Dak went down last year and Rush came in, just with a more talented group.

I thought I saw more of him on the bench grasping for air than in the game. Its easier to get pressures when he only plays half the snaps and comes in fresh on passing downs.

$47M is way too much for a player that can't even play every down and is basically a pass rush specialist. Dallas won the trade, easily.

You guys will make up whatever you need to make up to believe what you want to believe.

Parsons played 53.5 snaps per game last year. Garrett played 48.6. Watt played 55. Hunter played 40. Hendrickson was 55. Bonitto was 42. Van Noy was 53. Anderson Jr. was 40.

And again: Micah Parsons doesn't count $47M a year against the cap.

Sounds about right, Shotty and the Offensive coaches are doing a great job. Now if Shotty can just get the Defensive coaches to be better then we have a shot.
