Micah and Tank injuries?

Parsons said after the game...he can pass rush, he just can't run all over the field like normal. I think they will spot him as a designated pass rusher. I don't think Tank has an injury that would keep him out.

He needs a bye week now-he is hurting
I say rest both Micah and Tank the next 3 weeks plus the bye, take the L next week, bring back Prescott the following, win the next 2 without pass rush but offense (Dak is great at blowing out bad teams, especially at home), go into the bye at a sterling 6-2 and go at it hard and healthy for the stretch run.

I'm not so sure about that though... they dropped him back in coverage on one of those plays on defense late in the game and he covered his man well.

I didn't see Tank out on the field all fourth quarter after it looked like he got off under his own power and was OK after running into Sam Williams on that play the Rams OG got hurt deep in their own territory. Wonder if he's out next week.

Given that it's a bye after next week, I'm wondering if Parsons will take off next week to heal as well.

So no Parsons and no Lawrence for next week... is that the consensus?

They have 3 more games before the bye.

Then why did they have him out in coverage on the Osa sack?

Cause they surprised blitzed LVE which caused the sack-great design there
Micah's our best pass rusher and he's also our best cover linebacker by far. He'd also be our best safety and best cornerback if he decided he wanted to slim down and play DB.

Soft tissue injuries seem to linger. I hate that. Hoping it's not a sports hernia injury.

Tank worries me too. If he has any symptoms of a concussion, then he isn't playing next week. It's the right call....but we'll miss him.

Hopefully, both check out ok.

In the post game interview....Micah said he specifically told the Coach he could pass rush but not run all over the place. He directly said it. If they played him in coverage then so be it...but Micah apparently doesn't know what he can do.

No, it was in the next to last series, the play immediately before the Hooker INT... long after he suffered the groin strain in the 2nd quarter.

Either way....Micah specifically said he could pass rush. I don't know how many times I have to say it. Take it up with Parsons LOL.

Pretty sure that was a long time before he hurt the groin strain. Of course, I am sure Micah is lying about what he told the coaches.

No it wasn't. It was in the 2nd half. He was hobbling around grimacing and they had him covering down field on that play.

He should see a trusty personal doctor before he sees team doctors regarding that. Because he's a gamer and won't personally deal with a season ending injury. He's the type of GOAT that would play through a torn ACL like Brady. He'll be like... give me surgery and a nice long rest in mid February after we hoist the Lombardi.

Ok, even if it was....Micah said he told coaches he could pass rush, not the rest. It was in the post game interview with Tom Rinaldi, who also said Dak's grip felt pretty strong to him.

I've watched the Eagles this year. They're not as good as us if we're healthy. They struggle on offense for long stretches and they're particularly bad in second halves. Their defense is boom or bust and is prone to the big plays both against the run and pass. They're a very vulnerable 5-0. I'm more worried about GB, and, eventually, TB probably too than PHI.
I sure hope you're right. I haven't watched them yet this season.
