Almost as bad as losing the game is listening to the inevitable whining of our fans (and now players).
Loser mentality and lack of mental toughness, that's why we lose.
Micah's roughing call was close, but I think the forearm is what got the flag. He forearm shmmied Tua in the upper back. It was unecessary and it was intended to cause more damage and it drew a flag.
Tua is a star, and with his history, they are really going to watch and protect him.
Similar to DLaw's hit on Allen last week.
Use your head and don't put yourself in that position, and whining to the media is only going to make it worse.
Egotistical boys in men's bodies, just like our owner. **** and play.
Lol so me in the nfl rule book where it says you can't use a forearm in the qbs back?

I love Micah and he isn‘t wrong. But I wish he would quit pouting on the field. You can see it in his body language. That’s not going to help you get calls to go your way.

Cowboys DE/LB Micah Parsons on the penalties: "It's mind-blowing, the things that are getting called, and the positions that we get put in. We just have to learn how to fight the adversity. I know a lot of it is BS, but it's the world we live in. We've got the star on our helmet. ... It's just hard to play defense."

Parsons on his roughing the passer penalty: "(The ref) said my intent was to punish the quarterback. How am I trying to punish him if I'm just trying to sack him? It's not like it was a late hit. It's not like I'm leaving my feet. I didn't lead with my head. I don't know how you make that call."

Other than the “Star on the Helmet” part, the rest holds true.

There are lots of Star players across the league on the D-Line with concerns. Watts, Crosby and Micah. It’s not unique to the Boys but it does seem to be part of the leagues desire to promote offensive numbers annd touchdowns and protect QB’s and WR’s.

There’s no doubt that officiating is totally jacked up.

Maybe some teams have to deal with it more than others, I dunno. I’m sure some stats will show yea or nay, but he’s right.

The team just has to fight through it.

Refs are killing the product on the field. It is beyond frustrating. That said— this entire team needs to play better. Control what you can control.

And stop talking to the media. Moan to Jerry and Stephen who should be pestering the hell out of the league office every day until they fix this clown show.
the refs work for the owners lol and jerry is a owner!
owners make the rules and hire the refs you cry about!
It is all a circle that the owners make and control lol
and none of you guys can see it so I wonder if your blind or it is just over your heads ?

It works great though I salute the owners on developing all this and then hiding it in plain sight ! and All the while looking innocent themselves, and
let the refs take the yearly blow back from the micro brains.

No it’s not. It’s whining!

He is getting held! 100% true, and he is getting frustrated. Probably why he threw the elbow at Tia. He probably gets called for that even if it is not late.
It's not whining it's legit complaining

Wrong. The issue isn’t who makes the rules or who pays the refs.

The issue was, is, and always will be this:

The refs are not applying the rules they are being paid to enforce fairly, consistently, and equitably— and it’s destroying the quality of the product on the field.

But all us “micro brains” appreciate all you “mega-brains” helping us sort the problem out. You clearly have a coherent grasp on a league-wide, systemic issue, that many teams, players, and coaches are also frustrated by. Thanks for contributing your brilliant and illuminating analysis and for sharing your genius opinion.

His roughing call was almost as bogus as the one called on Miami where Dak grabbed the guy's helmet and pulled his head downwards on top of him preventing him from landing anywhere else but on top of him.

DAk coulda hurt that guy doing that.

Got us a cheap 15 yardsthough and a free trip off the goal line

"We've got the star on our helmet...It's just hard to play defense."

I have no problem with fans saying that - I expect it. I don't like players saying that. It's just making excuses.
That is alarming.

I’m sure Micah isn’t the only premiere pass rusher in the NFL who is held all the time and doesn’t get the holding calls…yet one never hears Bosa or Watt complaining about it.
The roughing penalty not only protects the QB, but is a judgement call…which begs for inconsistent enforcement; if one wants to be mad about it, get pissed at the NFL for putting the rule in place for player safety.

The Dolphins also penalized for roughing the passer unfairly…so it goes both ways. I thought both calls were BS like most posters. But unfortunately, one of those calls lead to a score that ended up being the difference maker…that and the defense’s inability to close the game out in the final few minutes.

I don't know that it is an anti Cowboys thing, although that crew of officials always seems to screw Dallas. But it seems to me the home team is getting a huge benefit from the refs this year. Remember, Miami got screwed by the refs when they played the Eagles in Philadelphia.

But I do think Micah has a valid argument. The refs seem to get Dallas for holding on some of the slightest infractions while other teams literally tackle Cowboys defenders and get nothing. That tackle of Damone Clark on the Dolphins last drive was ridiculous and on the same play Gallimore was held as he tried to pursue the play too. I have no doubt at all Tyler Smith gets called for either one of those penalties. And that non-call was crucial. Not only would that penalty push Miami back to about the 33 yard line, but it also stops the clock saving the Cowboys a TO. It would have been first and 20 at the 33 with 1:47 left on the clock and Dallas still had 2 time outs. We don't know what Miami would do there. Maybe they run it 3 times and take about a minute off the clock. Maybe they throw it and an incompletion stops the clock. But if Miami does not get the first down Dallas almost certainly gets the ball back with about 50 seconds left.

I can see letting the Gallimore penalty go, although I would expect the same call if it was Tyler Smith holding, but the Damone Clark tackle was inexcusable. If Greg Olsen is ranting about it you know it had to be bad. We complain about the Cowboys run defense, but if refs allow that kind of holding no run defense on the planet will hold up.
