Actually, speculation from some close the situation cite his not playing being due to the hazing scandal that was taking place @ PSU. It may have been presented to him that he has two options. Either you can quietly sit out the season on your own accord (wink…wink) and we’ll keep you out this mess as best we can, or you can stick around and have your name dragged through the mud and potentially be unceremoniously dismissed.

If it did go down this way, it does lend credibility to your comment re: him being a "poor teammate".

Hopefully that poor/lack of judgement he displayed at that time is behind him and he has learned valuable lessons from his mistakes.

Yeah, we haven’t got a ring in 28 years, and like a lot of teams, many of those years were our own fault. There were a few, though, that were timing, coincidence, injuries, or officiating, and they also know that, too. I also get speaking up and being proactive, but flapping your gums on Twitter rarely ends well for the team, because the media always twists it into some sensationalized negative BS to garner click$. It’s a distraction, plus it creates problems in contract negotiations.

Nope.... I read nothing stating he IS a bum from any of those people I've mentioned. You've been running from that question for a year and you STILL haven't found any of those valid people that I've mentioned saying DAK IS A BUM.
