Micah is a no show at voluntary OTAs this week

Zach Martin held out an entire training camp while under contract because he wanted more money.

Not OTAs. Not during negotiations. When he had years left on his deal. He just wanted to get one more bag.

No one here was bothered. All I saw was “pay the man!!!”

So, he got more money and proceeded to rapidly decline until he was a liability.
Yeah but Zack doesn't have a podcast. Therefore, you can forget that holdout and also gloss over that he basically refused to pitch in at Tackle when we had injuries because "they pay me to play Guard." Pretty funny, huh?

This is one of the things I don't like about the Joneses' negotiating strategy. They seem to be fine with top players missing workout/practice opportunities, almost like they are thinking that the less they practice, the less likely they are to get hurt. What we've seen is the opposite of that. Players who sit out while trying to get a contract done seem to have more soft tissue injuries than those who participate. There appears to be some truth to working your way into football shape.
So true, stupid way of doing things but is anyone really surprised!?? Good points on this post!!

Shocker, huh? This damn man child brat kid is going to be nothing but trouble for the Cowboys. What supposed "leader" is not with the team he wants to lead? I know what his excuse is, he is not there because he might break a finder nail before he gets the bag.

The Cowboy should just trade him and get some picks for players that are half mature, not like this spoiled kid.

Oh, by the way, did all of you know I really don't like him, at all!

Voluntary is an eye wink at the NFLPA rules for having players show up who are seriously interested in “WINNING “ and becoming a better team prepared to go to the next level. Micah showing his true colors and just being a big mouth and an invisible leader on the team. And he wants to be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Go figure.

Parsons isn't going anywhere -- he knows it, you know it and I know it. Forget this trade BS. It's silly. He'll be back when the time comes to be back. Jerry and Stephen won't consider trading him.
That's just a fact. Some players aren't loveable. That's not what they get paid for.

Most likely waiting on the revenue sharing checks to hit the cowboy account. Jerry isn’t going to dip into his or the teams funds to pay for Micah’s deal if he doesn’t have to.
I wonder if the Steelers are thinking the same thing with Watts...........
