Micah is in year 3... these are his prime years. He is a relentless player, but if he wants to be compared to the greats like LT, it is time he take over a game and dominate.... just like we watched LT do. I love Micah, but if he is who we think he is, he can not be avg this weekend. Biggest stage, nationally televised game between two of the top 5 teams in the entire league.... step up and show me you are worthy of these LT comparisons.

Side note, sorry Levi stadium opens parking lots 3.5 hours before kickoff. Cars will be lined up out in the streets waiting to get in, then you get in and will need to leave for the game by 4:15 to ensure you are inside by kickoff. Not cool!
Think we need to tap the brakes on the LT comparisons

I'm catching a ride with Steve McQueen. He will get the car in the lot.

I agree micah needs to take over games on the biggest stages….but this is week 5. Don’t agree this is the biggest stage. It’s a big regular season game in October and may mean something in late December / early January for seeding
Your wrong!!

This is a huge statement game!!

Some games are like playoff games. This is one of them!! We don’t win this game the Whiners are up by 2 games, with the tie breaker, and an easier schedule.

Micah and the D need to travel this weekend. Great Defenses travel!!!!!!

Appreciate the enthusiasm but let’s not get carried away.

NFL.com has LT as the #1 defensive NFL player of all time (Mr Cowboy is #3!)

There’s really not any LB’s I can compare him too.

I get some fans wanting to compare how he can dominate games with LT but it’s different IMO.

Parsons basically just impacts passing plays . And as the game goes on is seems like is on the sidelines unless it’s more of an obvious passing situation. I’m amazed how often he’s on the sidelines .

He can go stretches without as much impact . Some games not much at all. To me it seems like he could be doing so much more with his talent level with the potential to totally dominate every down .

The comparisons are wayyyy premature .

That Giants defense was what this era we call Generational. Our defense hasn’t consistently been on top of the league carrying a team to a championship. It hasn’t even dominated the most Elite QB’s or teams . Until it does then the comparisons need to be toned down.

Some Cowboy fans are so desperate for success . They want to celebrate before we have reached the pinnacle of the sport .

I understand . It’s been so long and fans are feeling this could be something special. Enthusiasm is fine . It is exciting and fun to watch. But the comparisons need to at least pump the brakes until we actually knock the door down.

Until we have more success in January then it will all be for not and Parsons will never be held in the same light as LT who he and their defense carried their teams to championships.

I personally don't think he will have the kind of impact you are talking about -in this game. Not that I don't wish it but because they will scheme around him like short, quick passes. Running to his side of the field when he lines up on the outside. They may even make him cover a TE or RB but in the end I don't think Purdy will hold on to the ball long enough for him to get home. There are other ways #11 can affect the game. That's how he can leave a mark.

You make it like Im the one that started it. Many, MANY media people are the ones doing it. Forget LT... if Micah wants to be CONSIDERED ELITE, he better show up big time and be a difference maker this weekend. If he doesnt.... is he really all that special? or just good?

Micah is a little different than LT in style, but his effect on the game is the same. Do not understate how much Micah is the focus of the offense and how much he changes the game plan for the other team. That is the same thing LT did to offenses. Micah improves the entire defense just by being on the field. The improved pass rush is an example of what Micah does. The focus on him allows others to make plays.

LT did not have a great game every week. He had off games too, at least a for him. But both Micah and LT are a presence on the field, and disruptive.

It is too early to say Micah is LT or better than LT. Micah has to do it for a few more years. But it can be said, if he continues to play at the level he is playing at, he could be as good as LT was.

And for those claiming LT loved football, do not forget his cocaine habit that almost ruined him.

Yeah, i love the dude but hes been somewhat successfully stifled by the better teams in terms of impact. Not saying he doesnt do anything or doesnt have some impact, but for him to be one of the greats is to be great against great teams.

IT'S WEEK 5

Such an annoying overstatement of this game.
no it isnt... this is a huge game. You can downplay it all you want. Homefield is in play, and clearly Dallas needs to get over getting beat over and over again by this team. Make no mistake, this is a big game.

You're making broad stroke projections of a third-year player about a week 5, non-division game in October.

It matters in the standings and nothing more.
