Disagree completely. He’s a decent to good line backer. He’s an exceptional pass rusher who can wreck games with dpoy potential as a rusher. If u wanna use him a little less as an edge? I don’t agree but I’d listen to the argument but only rushing on obvious passing downs?

He’s not a true defensive and he can’t stop the run. They are running at him. Needs play lb some. I think he’s only playing defense of end so he can get a big payday. I don’t care about him getting paid I care about winning.

oh boy. Big reminder why i usually dont come back here till Thursdays after a game. The meltdowns after a win are bad enough. The levels of overreaction and horrid takes after a loss are off the charts. Not just this thread. 1st page full of ridiculousness.

I don't think Micah is the only problem but I get the logic. Micah rushes very aggressively and he takes himself out of plays. Arizona exploited that in the first half Sunday. But I would ask, when Micah rushes, where is everyone else? Micah was rushing like that week 1 and 2 as well. The difference is, the Safeties and other LBs were filling the void. That did not happen Sunday.
I don't know what happened but where was Donovan Wilson on that 44 yard Dobbs run? Maybe he is rusty and needs time to get re-acclimated to game speed. Remember the first two weeks how Juanyeh Thomas and Markquese Bell were coming up and making plays? The Cowboys missed that kind of play against the Cardinals.

Bingo. Pick and choose. Lot harder plan against him if you don’t know where he’s lining up. I need him not rush like crazy man every play.

When Micah is playing DE the obvious offensive play is to run straight at him. He will make some plays, but just doesn't have the sand in the pants to hold an edge in the run game, while running at him on run downs will wear him down for the passing downs.
Micah is our best edge rusher and our best LB. Unless it's a clear passing down, don't put him at DE as a stationary target to be run at.
Micah can blitz from LB too. He's also our best blitzer. Micah at LB gives us our best run/pass balance on the downs that need it.

naw, he needs to be on special teams. He can be the punter and field goal kicker the running back and most likely the next QB. He's that good. Maybe they can let him call the offensive plays next week too while doing interviews on the sidelines.

OR we understand who we are playing and dont give the edges up so easily against Josh Dobbs? Its not Micah pass rushing, its the CB's giving 10 yard buffers while we do inside stunts with DE's when we are playing a QB who can run the read option and quick RPO offense... #11 needs to be pressing the line every play he is in but we can do this without completley giving up the edges like we did against AZ.

This has been the debate since Micah's 2nd game. I was on the play LB, move him all over the defense to create matchups and cause confusion. It looks like they settle into Micah being a full time DE, so I have too. Bro is just gonna have to get better or be a situational pass rusher. Might see more of the 3-4 look moving forward.
