I will never be one of those "shut up and dribble" type of people. Everyone is entitled to free speech. Just know all that comes with it and make sure that what you're saying compliments the message the rest of the team is sending. I don't think Micah is quite there yet.
Very well said

Yes, Micah Parsons has moments of greatness. I’m not going to take that away from him.

But his arrogance, and over-willingness to let his mouth write checks that he and his team can’t cash, is becoming too much.

Stop with the stupid podcast.

Stop with the stupid guarantees of greatness and assigning Nicknames to yourself and your unit.

Stop with the sack-chasing, undisciplined play style where you run 5 yards up the field while a running back runs right by you for a 20 yard gain.

Micah should have been humbled after the game on Sunday. But what did he do?

Got on his podcast early the next day and boasted about how things were “personal” with the 49ers now, and that things would be “different” if they see them again.

Okay, Micah.
This is where good coaching comes into play... gotta mentor these guys and try and keep them away from social media as much as they can, and def no podcast during the season - thats just stupid.

BTW, MM and Quinn should he sued for football malpractice for keep on sending Parsons to Williams side.

Cowboys have had good talent thru some of these years but its always the culture and coaching that does them in.

I cringe even mentioning it, but he’s reminding me of a more talented Jaylon Smith.
I knew this was coming from someone.

Both Tank and Jaylon had lots of detractors here at the CZ zone who had issues completely unrelated to what happened on the field.

It was based on their look and their “style” and the fact that they spoke in public.

People loved Jaylon smith until he massively regressed and would celebrate 12 yard downfield tackles while we were down.
Tank got some hate from his contract and not being as good as sacks as ware was, but hes underappreciated for sure.

It has nothing to do with style. It has everything to do with unabashed arrogance (with Jaylon and Micah, not Lawrence) and the fact that their play ON THE FIELD doesn’t match their words.

...only the young and dumb. The inexperience fall prey to these inferences.

Hopefully soon, he'll get the bigger picture.

Micah needs some veteran intervention.
In his mind he is the alpha male of the locker room. I guess he's right. Is there anyone who'll say otherwise in that locker room?
Should be Dak, but...we all know why he isn't.

Not sure he’ll listen, unfortunately. He’s been anointed as the next LT despite not having really accomplished anything of notice.
Yup but you and the others hyped him up because of a great rookie season

Too late....he bought into the narrative that he's the best defensive player in the league.....he already created a zoo in which he is the king of beasts. There are 3-4 true DEs who get just as many sacks but aren't bullied in the run game that I'd trade him for straight up. His only value is on passing downs. And we missed the boat on developing him as a LB; it's too late now. He wants to be free to do whatever he wants to get sacks, one of the stats that has little effect on winning and losing.

Then you should be even more aware that telling players to “shut up and dribble” is old man behavior and out of step with societal norms.
Societal Norms are often garbage. And often lowest common denominator. If you want to be treated as special, earn it.

Sacks when it matters has a LOT to do with winning and losing. Sacks as a whole like pretty much every other stat is not that important by itself.

See where Deebo came to his TE defense on Parsons calling him out with “you don’t want to see us again next time it will be worse”. WOW!
