Parsons is having a better year

whats crazy is at least statistically…there were other players who were way better. Several had *twice* as many sacks. But it wasn’t an official statistic

I don't know why people would take Diggs off the list. He was one of the main reasons for our 6-1 start. We see the effect of picks on our team. If he picks the pace back up he should be right there!

Judon deserves to be on the list as much as Parsons. He has had a great year and their D is playing really well.

Very insulting. Parsons is the buzz all over the NFL. He is a beast and no way he shouldn’t be in the top 2.

And for sure deserves rookie defensive player of the year.

Diggs being highly overrated because of his hot start. Hasn’t been nearly as consistent or as dominant as Parsons. He has a few good plays and a few bad plays. And his picks have dried up as of late that JC Jackson might even catch him. Almost everything Parsons does on the field is impressive. He’s really only in the discussion because of his sack numbers. But he’d be just as dominant even if he had half the number of sacks.

no, he’s just not being penalized for not continuing an unsustainable start. still part of his body of work regardless if it happened early , late or any time in between

so that not how they rate these things it pure stats and how you stack up against your counterparts

Parsons has 10 sacks is 8th , ok don't hate the media for posting , its how the game is set up..

its not the defensive mvp of your team , pure stats..

First of all it’s generally tough to have two DPOY candidates as when that happens you generally split the votes when on the same team.

Having said that……who and the hell after last years Defense thought in we would have two DPOY candidates?!? The last two drafts are awesome!

If Parsons is going to win it then he will do it against Kyler Murray.

If he doesn’t have a big game there they will give it to someone else by default.

Diggs and Parsons should be switched on the list. Garrett is just based on his sacks because he has nothing else to go on. That's like rating QBs just based on TD passes. Parsons is not that far back from him on sacks and a lot more tackles, TFL...Oh well, Cleveland won't make the playoffs and the Cowboys will, so that is also on Parsons' advantage.

Cool, but unless he goes crazy the next 5 games he won't win it. But at this point, unless he falls off a cliff the last 5 games, he should be an almost lock for DROY.

Diggs has a legit shot at it though. Wouldn't that be cool to see 2 Cowboys with DPOY awards?

I agree. Diggs is a "feast or famine" type player. Guys on this list should be "feast or feast" type players. I'm certainly glad we have him, but he's not even DPOY on his own team, IMO.
