Parsons isn't going any where, Jerry is going to back up the bricks truck for him.

You mean like their loyalty to Tom, Jimmy, Ware, Romo, Dez, Zeke, ect ect etc
It is a 2 way street and in the end business. So don’t expect hometown discount from him when it comes time for 2nd contract , May be a trade bait. Players can’t follow coaches unless they are FA.

Cowboys DE/LB Micah Parsons on DC Dan Quinn getting head coaching interest and this potentially being his last run with Quinn: “It’s the nature of the business. It could possibly be my last ride with Q. And if it is, we’re gonna make sure it’s a damn good one.”

“Dan is my guy. And if he does leave, it’s always love. He might take me with him, you never know.”

trade him for 2 1sts and 2 2nds

Well that's a given.

Micah acts like the stereotypical "dumb jock".
I mean...yeah. He's a young kid, at the top of his game and arguably the best defensive player in the league. I don't know if he's dumb or just immature with a huge platform.

That would be tragic for this franchise. With Parsons they are a top 5 unit without him they are a bottom 5
That's the sentiment his agent wants out there and probably what this comment is about more than anything. That, and not being able to read the room regarding sentiment, lol.

And I’d be ok if DQ took his whiny butt with him. I’m sure we’d over pay him. And if he’s not enough to take us all the way I’m ok with parting ways .

.....oh boy
The last statement will take on a life of its own with his critics...lol
Nevermind he's obviously being sarcastic

Is he? Hasn’t he said something similar to this before? His indifference to rivalry games. It does feel like given the chance he’d split. So if that’s how he feels, and if DQ lands a gig I think you explore compensation for 11. If you could parlay 11 into Let’s say 5- 6 picks couple of 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s that a lot of talent to infuse into this team.

It’s tempting.

Micah grew up an Eagles fan.

He has no loyalties to the Cowboys.

He roots for the Eagles in the playoffs when the Cowboys are out.
