This has impressed me most about his camp so far. Just goes to show you how much stupid stuff that comes out about players. They probably just assumed because penn state never asked him to cover
Let’s tap the brakes on whether this guy can cover or not..chill out
Agree let’s tap the brakes on the guys who said he can’t cover… simply because he wasn’t asked to at PSU..
Perfectly said. He has everything there. It’s his for the taking. His only issue is that he is raw due to only being an Lb for two years.
he has absolutely elite tools. And he has the mental ability/mindset.
he just needs more experience to put it all together.

I like Parsons instincts/feel when he's in coverage... that's what allows him to make plays. I mean look at Jaylon...not much feel for coverage. Parsons is LB #1 already.

Interesting...thing is Jaylon isn't instinctive now and you don't lose that.Pre injury, Jaylon's man coverage skills were considered elite.
Speed doesn't equal the ability to cover. With speed like he has, how could he not be good in man coverage? Follow your man and stay close.
Zone coverage is a different animal. Speed helps but instincts, discipline, and practice are needed.
