Micah is starting to feel like fans of the cowboys have been feeling for years. We’re all tired of it.
Is it humor if noone laughsThat you guys do not get Risen's humor after all this time astounds me.
The Dollar Tree of sports journalism?More like the turds in late night Walmart's toilets.
It’s funny once in awhile. Every response (done for likes) gets old. That you guys do not get Risen's humor after all this time astounds me.
ESPN is a collection of middling former NFL players and women larping as sports journalists. I haven’t watched that garbage for 15 years and objectively see no value in it.
Unless he sincerely didn't mean it the way people took it. Sure, he'd be better served to apologize for not thinking his response through and realizing it might not be taken the way he intended, but if he wasn't trying to make fun of the situation, he shouldn't have to plead guilty to such an infraction.Bart should just issue an apology, take responsibility for saying something stupid and inappropriate and try and move on.
Trying to defend himself at this point is hilariously poor form
Nah… he should apologize. SAS and Clark, the Cowboys, pretty much everyone thinks it was a stupid, inappropriate, and insensitive remark.Unless he sincerely didn't mean it the way people took it. Sure, he'd be better served to apologize for not thinking his response through and realizing it might not be taken the way he intended, but if he wasn't trying to make fun of the situation, he shouldn't have to plead guilty to such an infraction.
I'm not saying it wasn't a stupid thing to say. I just don't think malice was his intent.
i dont watch and havent for years now is all garbage in and garbage outI'm just going to say this about Bart Scott. NEVER EVER LISTEN TO OR WATCH THE TALKING HEADS.
It is a complete waste of time. They never say anything of value. Their only goal is to be as outrageous as possible, and upset as many fans as possible in order to stir up controversy, and thus drive clicks and views. Don't play that game. Losing Diggs is devastating, but it doesn't mean the Cowboys cannot win.
The Cowboys still have 6 cornerbacks on the team besides Diggs: Gilmore, Bland, Lewis, Wright, Scott and Igbinoghene. Plus they have special teams ace CJ Goodwin, and safety Israel Mukuamu. None of them will be as good as Diggs, but they won't be awful either. The Cowboys can still win with their suffocating pass rush, and much improved run defense. Take away the QB scrambles, and the Cowboys are giving up only 45 rushing ypg to running backs, and are pulverizing Olines and QB's with their pass rush.
Bland will be okay on the outside as a replacement for Diggs. I'm more concerned about Lewis being the slot corner coming off his injury. But Mukuamu can play the slot pretty well, and Donovan Wilson is also coming back soon. Wilson and Kearse can handle the tight ends. With Diggs, the Cowboys secondary was a slasher horror film for opposing offensive coordinators. The Cowboys still have a pretty scary defensive secondary even without Diggs, and will be tough to overcome - especially with the Lion Pride hunting QB's, and the revamped interior Dline stuffing running backs for minimal gains.
I don't know what Scott said...Never mind, just saw a thread about it. Gonna check it out now.
