I had a friend who got drafted by the Padres. One of the first things they did was have them attend a class about finances, scams, statistics.Good video, can’t imagine it’s easy to adjust to so much wealth so quickly.
Was it real or was it just oh we're just two alphas etc etcGREAT video. I highly encourage everyone to watch it completely. I know it's almost 20 minutes long but there is priceless info in there. The feud between Parsons and DLaw fully explained.
That's the problem. The world is cruel. You think you are surrounding yourself with the right people and they are wolves in sheep clothing. Some people can handle sudden wealth and success. Some can't. Sometimes it's just as easy as surrounding yourself with the right people. Good family and good friends make all the difference.
True. I'm not even bashing DLaw. I understand where he's coming from and wish him well. Hopefully he manages his money like an Amish person his second time around because he has a chance to make his money work for him so he never works again or he can blow it. These guys need finance classes..all this bling culture puts all their wealth into liabilities and now they aren't rich; they just look rich. That's the problem. The world is cruel. Honestly, he didn't even play tired. I thought he took the bullet for a lot of guys including Micah. Micah was the main one who played like he was "tired"...The truth is often somewhere in the middle. However, it's a very good thing Lawrence left. The excuse of "being tired" after that GB loss in the biggest game of the year holds no water.
The NFL does this during rookie orientation. They provide resources for the players to help them manage their money. And the agents probably try to help them also. Whether or not the players use the services or take the advice is a different story I guess.I had a friend who got drafted by the Padres. The Union, the Teams, most of their Agents, all tell these guys to be sensible. The NFL does this during rookie orientation. They provide resources for the players to help them manage their money. All clickbait. Shameless, too. He simply repeated the same point over and over. I know his voice. Doesn’t he sell weight loss programs on TV infomercials?Am I taking crazy pills? Nothing Parsons said or did has anything to do with Dlaw’s financials. This is a clickbait video, he keeps alluding to something that never comes
And Micah wasn’t ever a Cowboy when Dlaw went broke. When Parsons got to Dallas, Lawrence was counting his fat stacks
For real. This video pretends that Lawrence didn't sign that fat $20M per year deal before Parsons even got there but yet his past financial troubles continued to haunt him and spill over to present day relationships somehow. If you're going to paint hazy, unrelated theories to explain a feud, there were so many more that could have been used like Lawrence's money making him comfortable which is far more traceable considering Lawrence never had another year like his contract year and Parsons has been the best thing on defense since then. Then that Parsons' "envy" Tweet could have been twisted that way. Do I have to show clickbaiters how it's done too? Lol.Am I taking crazy pills?
