It is well documented that Tyron Smith has missed time over the past several seasons due to injury. Even though he came back last year after missing most of the season, he didn't look like the Tyron Smith of old. The very best remedy for Smith, and the best way to get him back into his old All-Pro form, is to have Micah Parsons beat him like a drum in training camp so that he has to focus and get better. Parsons beats everyone, even All-Pro players. It is a huge asset to have him compete against Tyron in training camp.

So, when I hear about Parsons beating Tyron, my response is, "Good! Go get him, Micah."
might not quite look like his old self playing right tackle because I don't remember Tyrone Smith being an exceptional right tackle can I say right tackle right tackle right tackle..

OK back to his natural position left tackle I expect a little more from him this year... This is training camp and you're going against one of the best pass rushers in the league kinda hard to stop one-on-one I don't care who you are.... Tyrone is who he is now he knows it he is not his old self he never will be but I think playing left tackle again will help a lot.

Parsons is smart enough to respect the old vets.
He isn't even showing Tyron his full gear yet, and MP getting close to Dak, they need that to continue.
Dak gets to practice vs the best pass rusher in the game, I said practice.
Why some peeps get upset because MP is getting a bit up front and personal while refraining somewhat... lol
Great players make good player better,, it has always proven true.
I fully disagree I mean I can appreciate Michael Parsons going full given his all so that way practices become better however getting too close is what causes those accidental trips falls and rolls into the back of a starter I don't care if it's Prescott or someone else we can not afford to lose our best players because somebody doesn't have a second gear in practice... So Micah needs to step on back and be more careful I'm sorry it only takes one roll up I mean we lost Tyrone Smith a couple years ago because of the same thing someone rolled into his back leg in practice... So again we realize Micah usually only has one gear and we've seen it before last year going back in games that were already decided he's hurt he's limping he's trying to get a sack I mean the guy needs to stop and figure out in the pro game you have to have different gears for different times you have to know when to say stop and go take yourself out of the game so you're more ready for the next game. This is not high school or college anymore and I think that he as a pro will learn that he has to pull back at times especially against his own players...

What Micah did to him, is what we're going to see a lot of during the season being done to him!

Several reports indicate the only times that Parsons has been stopped in this camp were by Tyron...

How many reps has Parsons really won? We saw some video of a few really good reps by Parsons, but that doesn't mean it happens regularly.
This is a good point. If he embarrasses him three or four plays but it's out of something high like 70 or 80 total plays then not really a concern.
