So this has probably been the most exciting thing I've read about the Cowboys this year (though getting rid of Gregory/Collins on my wishlist). Bohanna is absolutely my pet cat. Really since we signed him. The way DQ talked about.. I dunno, I guess that sold me. I've had a feeling that he could really be something. I had hoped for more last year but he was a rookie. I know a lot of people haven't thought much, but hearing Micah talk this way.. I'm excited to see what he does this year. I think Micah knows that if Bohanna elevates his play, it will only Micah feast on the QBs.

Last year he played like Little Bo Peep… this year he’s Big Bo Sweet.

some guys have bigger second year leaps than others. It seems that Big Bo is making a huge jump. Not that big a surprise really. Guys from like Alabama and Georgia are kind of maxed out when they get to the league. Others from schools that aren’t that big in football and that don’t necessarily have great coaching can improve dramatically.

Great for the Cowboys that Bo did.

And then we also have that (NFL) peanut butter and jelly off-season strength and conditioning program.

Bo was the perfect candidate for coming back stronger thka season.

Size is still an issue regardless of how strong. The constant pounding takes a toll on smaller DTs. Plus, he doesn't have a unique skill set that a similarly sized guy like Donald has. Not that there's anything wrong with that. He is what he is. He's a good rotational piece. That's a win for a mid round draft pick.
Osa = Eric Ogbogu. Might be more, but he looks like a really good rotational piece.

Bohanna has been a pressure DT, not a run stuffer. He has a big body, but he still uses his quickness to get free. If he's been in the weight room all off-season, then look out. Because, if he's added strength to go with his quickness, then he can be a force to be reckoned with.

Bo has always had the talent, it was simply about getting him to maximize instead of just skating by. Can we get him motivated and keep him motivated?

Yuge, in more ways than one.

If true.

Going off last year, DT was our weakest unit, and Bohanna the weakest player on that unit. If he rises to a mediocre starter, I'll be surprised and thrilled.

I don’t get the impression we will be bullied up the gut, like last year. That alone could improve this team.

I don't know, but Bo showed up in every practice, scrimmage, and preseason game I watched. He's #1 on the depth chart at NT and he's got a coordinator who knows a little something about building a D-Line. I think he cold be a key piece to this game if he can push the pocket a little. Bo and Shultz are my two players who I think need to have big games for Dallas to win this one.

If Micah says it, I believe it.

I'm going to take it on faith that Micah Parsons is as good at evaluating talent as he is at playing football. Lord knows we could use a dominant nose guard. This would go a long way in helping this defense take the next step.

I don't even know the last time we had a useful nose guard. Mainly cuz Marinelli loved using tweeners like Crawford in that spot.

Big Bo flashed so much in those preseason I was surprised. If this guy is at starter we may have finally gotten a defense that strong up the middle which me and others have asking for, for years. Bo, Osa, Micah, Kearse n Hooker looks to be promising.

I believe Micah but we'll see this season. Bucs are inexperienced on the IOL...Micah, Osa n Bo gotsta eat and get after Brady.

Consequently, the secondary would benefit as well as the middle will have been shut off, so the QB can't step up in that situation. As such, if he has to quickly get rid of the ball, then the secondary can just pick the QB apart.

Hooker is overrated until proven otherwise. People give him a pass based on being a former first rounders
