I just voted.

Always an uphill battle for a defensive player to beat an offensive player

No ....... I want him pissed next year
If he needed that for motivation he wouldn't be the player we think he is anyway. Besides, it's not as if he Chase isn't a legitimate contender for the honor.

I voted for Micah, but I'd be good if Chase won.

I mean, his team is still in the playoffs.

DROY of the year, easy.

Overall ROY though? Micah was 2021 great. Chase was historically great.

Micah was playing his *** off vs niners. If you think otherwise you are blind?
He just didn't produce much but it sure wasn't lack of effort....first time all year seeing him get off the field because he needed a breather.......I think the team played their ***** off just some played more dumb than others....

Was he though? Didn't Justin Jefferson have a better year JUST last year?

Jefferson was 1400 for 7 TDs

Chase was 1429 for 13 TDs.

Not only were Ja’Marr’s 1429 second all time for NFL rookie receivers, but he’s the only receiver ever to get 1400+ yards and 13+ TDs in his rookie year. His 18.0 YPC were also 7th ever for qualifying rookie WRs. Only 2 of the 6 ahead of him were within 200 yards receiving

Moss had 17 TDs in 1998 with only 1300 receiving, but he caught only 55% of the passes thrown to him, vs 63% for Ja’Marr. One or the other is likely the greatest rookie receiver season ever (Moss in only 16 games is probably the edge there. He likely has 1400+ if for that 17th game)
