Is this like when Jaylon Smith tweeted that he wanted pro-bowl votes? Or is this different because everybody likes Micah?
I do not care if it was or wasn't ........ These players should be ashamed to beg for votes after Sunday's display. And you think that's Parson's fault?
If you factor in that Parsons was only a part time pass rusher and spent a considerable amount of time as a traditional LB I would say coming 1.5 sacks short of the rookie record is as impressive as other performances that are called historic. His split between pass rusher, run defender and pass coverage was pretty close to an equal 3 way split. Do you think Chase would have set a record if he only ran pass routes 1/3 of the time?DROY of the year, easy.
Overall ROY though? Micah was 2021 great. Chase was historically great.

Don't get me wrong, I agree completely that Chase is a strong candidate, and I will have no problem with the choice if he is the choice (probably will be). I just think that Parson's claim is legitimate as well.
Parson's played well Sunday, and was a major reason the team had a chance. I see nothing for him to be ashamed of. I also didn't see begging. Besides, players and teams promote candidates for awards all the time.I do not care if it was or wasn't ........ These players should be ashamed to beg for votes after Sunday's display.
Maybe if he would have gotten a couple of well timed sacks Sunday I would feel like voting.
I don’t think they give bonus credit for players who aren’t playing as much or are played out of position.
But, if you're bound and determined to show your petty and vindictive side, that's up to you.
No!Thanks ...... I appreciate the support.
No!
lol
You apparently didn't watch him play. He wasn't playing less, he was playing multiple roles. And he wasn't playing out of position, he was great at all 3 roles. They were able to move him around to make him harder for offenses to account for because he was truly outstanding no matter how they used him. He was the team's best pass rusher, best run defender and best coverage linebacker all in one. I would say he easily made as big an impact on the Cowboys as Chase did with the Bengals.
LolI don’t vote for losers….
DROY of the year, easy.

And now that we got the Eagles puke opinion.
What exactly is historic about Chase? Seen it before.
You know what I haven't seen before? An off ball LB part time pass rushing and being one of the top pass rushers in the entire league. Now that would be historic.
His 1429 yards receiving were second in nfl history for a rookie wideout. Never has a receiver had 1400+ yards and 13+ TDs their rookie year. He is the first ever. On top of his stat accumulation, he was also one of the most efficient rookie receivers ever, compiling 18 ypc and 63% catch rate. His 18ypc were 7th best ever, with only 2 of the 6 above him being even within 200 yards. His 63% catch number is much higher than all time great deep threats like Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, and Julio Jones, who all averaged around 50-55% their rookie years.
So by saying you’ve seen it before, unless you’re talking about Moss in ‘98, then no… you haven’t.
"So unless you're counting the time you've seen it, then no...you haven't."
I'm done with you.
I didn't say he would be a home run for defensive rookie of the year if he stayed at linebacker the whole time, I said he was outstanding when he played linebacker.I don’t agree with that. If he stayed at LB I don’t believe he’d be a home run for DROY. In the conversation, yes, but his play at the different positions weren’t all “truly outstanding.”
His sack total is what’s making his standing “outstanding” at the moment.
