OXNARD, Calif. — Micah Parsons has been with the Dallas Cowboys throughout their 25 days of training camp in California. He has talked to reporters once, after the first practice.

Other than posting a trade request on social media, Parsons has remained quiet.

That included Wednesday as the Cowboys held their second from last practice in California. Parsons was approached by reporters as he was leaving the field.

“My mouth’s closed,” was all that he said.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did stop to chat with reporters a few minutes later. There’s nothing new to report regarding any contract talks with Parsons or his agent, David Mulugheta. Will talks pick up when the team returns to Dallas?

“I don’t know that necessarily talks will,” Jones said, “but we got a game coming and he’s under contract.”

“You don’t have deadlines when you’re playing under a contract,” Jones said.

“We might or might not talk,” he said. “The rest of that gets into what we do every day.”

“All you got to go on are contracts,” Jones said. “We are negotiating for a contract. When you do a contract, you would hope that after a negotiation that that’s what both the team and player look to to see what our obligations are. I have a lot of respect for a contract.”

This will all result in a massive contract before the season to Micah-or he fakes injury and waits a game or two to get the deal done. This is all ridiculous press coverage and the real reason the deal is not finished. Becomes a non-story once the deal is done.

Pretty obvious Jerry has zero intention of giving him a new contract before the season starts
Some of the Fan guys who heard Jerry live said that's what they thought, too. That he's just going to basically dare Michah to miss games and turn down all those game checks.

Really Not much of a positive spin lately from him

Definitely feels like digging in, but we got a few more weeks till week 1

We might or might not look what we do everyday WORD SALAD

Not surprised Jerry is still talking when someone else has learned to be quiet. But one question I have is do you guys think Jerry is mad at him? Do you guys think Jerry might now want to sign him? Maybe Jane Slater was right and his teammates don’t like him.

I know it’s Jerry’s MO and stupidity to live by the “deals make deadlines “ crap but this seems more negative and personal.

Always funny to hear NFL owners talk about honoring or respecting a contract.

Meanwhile, there's speculation that this season is Trevon Diggs last season in Dallas and he may be released in the offseason.

Jane Slater didn’t say teammates don’t like him, at least not that I’ve seen.

She did said that last year an anonymous coach said that anonymous players complained about his social media.

Keep in mind, Jane’s main source is Stephen. They have a mutually beneficial relationship. He leaks hot takes to her and she tweets them.

It’s been going on for some time and she’s one of the main content creators who carry water for the front office.

Occasionally she’s critical, just to maintain some creditability, but if you watch, she’s often right in the middle of whisper campaigns against players during contract negotiations.

Last year or two years ago? And it would be no surprise if those players (assuming they existed) are now gone (at least the ones that were on the DL)) which makes this even more odd that they cleaned house to make Micah the leader and then treated his contract with anything but the importance it deserved...and so here we are..

Sounds like Jerry, is not getting duped for contract that size. Unless they meet him half way.
Trade him Jerry, for two war daddies
