A lot of people are hating on Micah, but he’s not wrong.

Here’s some reality for Micah Parsons. After the 49ers pay their quarterback they’ll be more able to afford Micah Parsons than the Cowboys.

He’s “wrong” to utter any comment about player compensation at a time he’s looking for a new deal. He should be saying the 49ers and every NFL team can afford to pay all their stars. The guy is a damned fool.

What Micah doesn't realize, because he's a player and not a GM, is that reality may mean you have to dump players at some point, teams like San Francisco show that you can do that and build back up quickly to make another run at a title. Reality doesn't have to be, we have an expensive QB so we can't do nothing until we don't have an expensive QB.

I hope they trade Micah. Not because I have anything against him. It’s because this franchise is a composite heap except for the special teams guys, CeeDee, T Smith and Parsons.

I watched 4 Super Bowl wins so I’m content. I’ll just love watching the complainers get their hopes up, only to watch this team be mid at best. This ship is sinking and those big contracts equate to nothing more than jersey sales.

He is not showing up without a contract extension. Whatever the Cowboys can or can’t afford, he has not been signed to an extension. His agent will not let him show up for training camp until a deal is done. The Cowboys need to pay the man.

One thing Micah is, is honest. He has already said he isnt holding out. He knows a deal is gonna get done. No need to hold out. Same as CeeDee... he dint need to hold out, it was getting done no matter what.

I think there has been 1 player in NFL history that has held out the 5th year option. The Cowboys actually did him a solid and gave him the DE designation when they didn't have to.

Parsons led defense has lost to SF every time since he has been in the N.F.L. His efforts would be better served doing some heavy weightlifting so he can stop getting trucked on every run play.

Actually, that Micah is taking this position on principle is a good thing for us.

Him saying this means that he clearly understand the zero sum nature of the cap from year to year and has realistic expectations about contract parameters while he is simultaneously saying he intends to resign.

This flies in the face of the con game our resident Eagles fan is trying to sell.

If you are just going to talk at me with the con then I am just going to talk about what I think of it.

It is scary how often people fall for this confidence game. You cannot actually think this is compelling as you try to gaslight your certainty.

Wait, Micah is gonna have a huge contract? Where you been? This had been pretty evident for two years. You live in a barn?
