The owners are doing everything they can to protect their profit margins. why shouldn't a player who puts it all on the line. This is a business before all else regardless of what fans think. I will never hate a player for maximizing regardless of talent...and truth be told you can put any fan in the exact same position, and they would do the same.

If a player wants to win, he can make sacrifices to help in that regard.

let me explain something to people who are easily triggered and gas lit this is getting old with the Jerry post but let me explain how this doesn't circumvent the CBA because he's not making deals he's having discussions about the parameters of a new contract he's allowed to do so with his employee under contract this in no way is leaving out the agent when the agent is needed he will come in and either approve it or not approve it and they will workout the details and then get it signed they do not need the agent involved at every step that is not circumventing the CBA this is Jerry Jones the owner someone who runs a business which is like a corporation he has a right at any moment to have a discussion with Parsons and if Parsons is uncomfortable with it he shouldn't come into the office and talk about it but he has and it's very OK I get there's rules but they're not trying to sign a contract without his representation they are just having discussions early discussions about what that contract might look like..
