Micah's comments about his agent

Attaboy Micah.

Don't let the Jones boys get one over on you. Total and intentional disrespect to try and go around the agent.

The Joneses play dirty in negotiations and this is even more proof.
when they are all (both sides) in the same room you will be hard pressed to find a greedier bunch

All this back and forth is about nothing. I never understood people who get excited about running it back with the same guys that you've been losing games with. If the Cowboys can't win with Micah on the cheap, how will they win with Micah being the highest paid defensive player ever?

This rancid team needs to be gutted to the core.
Start with the owners and go from there.

So you think the same people who put together this "rancid" team will do better if they gut the team and start over? Isn't that just running it back on another level.

Great players are hard to come by. Micah is a great player, and as you say, all the back and forth is about nothing. We should not conflate Jerry's mismanagement of player contracts with performance on the field. Jerry should have had this deal done a long time ago, quietly and efficiently, and there would be no hard feelings between the player and owner, or between the player and fans.
Exactly. This isn't a personnel issue, this is an fo issue

If Watt signs an extension it will cost us another few million per year against the cap for waiting. The only consistency is that Incompetence rules the day in Dallas. Morons.

Jerry is the idiot. He’s handing out ludicrous player contracts. He has done more to escalate individual player compensation than any other owner. Haslam is admitting the Watson debacle is on him. Jones gave Prescott more guaranteed money after seeing the issues in Cleveland.

Jones makes no sense. It isn’t because he doesn’t care about winning. He is too old to be involved in the Cowboys’ day-to-day operations. He should not be talking to the press in regard to the Dallas Cowboys. He is being taken advantage of. Players and agents, and the NFLPA in general, love him because he is unsure of how to negotiate. The press love him because he can be counted on to say something stupid every time he opens his mouth.
Well the ink hasn't hit the paper yet so it's not too late for Jerry to right the ship (not that I trust him to do just that).

They should have been in front of Micah and his agent the minute Crosby signed his deal. Would have come in under $40MM I suspect.

Oh well. This is the Cowboys way. Then they cry about slices of pie while at the same time separating their shoulders patting themselves on the back for giving out big contracts.

Would anyone gives the Cowboys 2 firsts and a second for this dude?

Oh yeah...he's already a Cowboy

Go Cowboys!

P

Philly should sign him lol

if we are talking about stats not rings this hold true with both players...you may like one better than the other but they both have great position stats and not big wins...but that holds true for every "Good/Great" player we have had for 30 years...
Josh Allen is one of the top and hasn't won anything either but he is way better than Dak. Parsons is one the best and you can just tell by watching his natural physical ability to beat some of the best tackles in the league. Kinda like Myles Garrett and TJ Watt. Stats are only part of the equation.
