Let me try to keep it simple for you since you don't seem to be able to grasp the point. If Micah signed this offseason before Garrett did, there was no way he was getting $40M plus per season. Now, in the same offseason, it's almost a guarantee that he will get that. What other players get is absolutely related and how much you give your players in a cap world is absolutely important with regards to team building in a salary cap world.
