bennett is going to be a bit frustrating - he racks up the penalties..what you saw tonight is what we will get

hes a game changer for sure and the pros far outweighs the cons..bennett , Lawrence, and Quinn on third downs rushing the passer is a nasty pass rush

He just needs to cut down on the penalties.

Yes none of his penalties were crucial to this game, but that won't always be the case. Penalties and turnovers are the two biggest reasons teams lose, he won't have turnovers of course...

There were times when he looked totally confused.........but then I thought he might have just talked to Garrett.

Yeah his jersey actually looked too big like they gave him one off the rack.
79 has typically been an OL number with the DL typically being in the 90s. I wonder if he'll get a number change.

Why the hell we re do is contract, making him a free agent after the season??

Wouldve had him for another year and couldve let Collins go

The only guess I can make is Stephen being Stephen and him thinking they can get him cheaper for the next year or 2 - even thought they could've done that already. But, this DEFINITELY lets them possibly get out of Crawford's RIDICULOUS contract

Well, seeing that he is kind of a throwback player, the 70's number suits him - remember, he wore 74 in his heyday with Seattle. Also, all the DE's from the 70's wore numbers in the 70-79 range. Nostalgia LOL

Credit to the front office here. It was an outside the box move. When people were clamoring for DT or S help (myself included), they saw an opportunity to get Bennett cheap because the Pats just couldn't really work him into their system.

SO kudos to the front office brain trust on this one.

1 Sack, 3 QB Hits, 3 tackles, and had a few QB Pressures.

Looked good and well worth the 7th-Rounder we gave up for him. Great bull rush inside. More of that please.

Don’t wanna overreact cause it’s one game, and it was the Giants, but our D-Line looked completely different with him on the line.

Thats my boy! Bff baby. Lets go!

I agree, it was a good move. However, the Cowboys again become more talented, yet still play like they are the bad news bears.

Anybody notice him walking Danny Dimes to the sideline after the Woods pick? Bennett got in his ear and walked him all the way to the Giants sideline before a ref turned him around. This team needs some of that nastiness, especially on defense. As bad as the Hill pick has sucked, give this staff credit for pulling pass rushers out of their butts with Quinn and Bennett.
