bring in at minimum….see if fully healed from knee and can contribute on CHEAP. He was just nowhere near worth his contract when he was here. Likely won’t work out at all…but never know, when we brought in Rolando McClain off a year out of ball, he played great…who knows.

OMG. Why do so many Dallas fans CRAVE mediocrity.
It's because the Cowboys fan base winning standard has been so tainted by so many years of failure.
The fanbase has become hypnotized into thinking there is no genuine trophy opportunity and has settled into Jerry's relevant way of winning.

So much so that the new expectation is a ceiling of "just making the playoffs."

That's the mindset.
From the owner down through every player to the last ball boy.

To contend for a championship and most importantly, doing everything you can to contend, is not even a consideration with regards to the front office approach to free agency.

It's just an every year hope that they get lucky enough to make the playoffs and see what happens.

Fantasy Football management equals at best a wildcard or divisional round loss. And other times not even making the playoffs at all. That's the Cowboy standard.
Period.

I wish Michael all the success he can manage with his attempts to reestablish his career. I doubt the Cowboys will volunteer to be the guinea pig for his newfound ambitions, however. Perhaps another team will be open to providing him the comeback he desires. Best of luck with that, MG.

We forget the last year with Dallas he was coming off a knee injury. I see him as more of a #3 WR than a #2, but he had some big catches for Dallas over the years. Some of his acrobatic sideline catches were pretty amazing.

Like I always say, it doesn't hurt to kick the tires. I do think they missed him after he left. Dak seemed to like throwing to him.
