Michael Gallup needs to catch the ball, or we need to find someone who will. I'm glad to see that we got Lamb and Cooks more involved. However, Michael Gallup is starting to annoy me with his drops. Last week, one of his drops resulted in an interception. He nearly caused one last night, and he had a lot of drops yesterday. I understand that drops happen in the NFL, but Michael Gallup dropped a lot last night. This seems to be a trend from the 49ers game, and I think he had a few against Arizona and the Giants. I don't know who the WR coach is, but he needs to be on MG for his drops. It's killing momentum for our team, and Dak needs to be able to rely on him to catch the ball when he throws it to him.

How many drops did he have? I remember 2, and some balls that were thrown too hard and away.

Some say he dropped two TDs. He should have caught one of them, but the other was an overthrow. Sometimes fans seem to want receivers to stick to the ball like Spider-Man if they are able to lay a finger on it.

That's the way I see it regarding the end zone throws. One his fault, one not.

It’s a big problem. He really struggles with the routine catch.

I thought he had at least 3 or 4. I think he dropped 3 of 4 attempts right out the gate, and then he had at least one or two after with one nearly becoming an interception.
Are you calling the missed TD pass a drop? Because that was a bad throw.

So the plan should be:
1. Dump him as an underachiever and get nothing in return.
2. Try to resurrect his form and showcase him in a game to gain trade value?
3. Bench him and get nothing in return?

Bloke, I'd go to No. 2.

Which one are you talking about? Not the one that hit him directly in the hands I hope
Yeah, one of them was a perfect throw. He got tugged a little from behind, but not enough to interfere with the catch. I think he let the defender's arm swipe at it distract him. I think he does better with more challenging catches than he does with gimmes.

First off, I thought Gallup was supposed to be the deep threat receiver. Second, his route running is not crisp, he stops during routes, his hands are iffy at best, and he lacks toughness. Maybe he's still struggling mentally with his injury.

Gallup has no separation ability anymore. Balls that are thrown his way are in tight coverage or a jump ball. More times, it is batted away or over thrown.
