And I think the Cowboys are just at the end of the first tier where they stand now. We know the deal w/ Peterson. By all accounts they wont take Quinn. So Prince, Watt, Castanzo, Carimi, Pouncey, Solder, Cam Jordan all shouldnt be taken at 9 assuming they are getting fair value in a trade down.

I would like to trade down here and get one of the tackles;however if Quinn falls I might take him, Id rather trade down and take a chance on Jimmy Smith than get Prince. I just think he is a much better player and might be able to drop far enough to get another 2nd

Taking horrific character concerns out of the equation a lot of people think Jimmy Smith is better than Prince.

So do the Cowboys really want to take the 3rd most talented corner in the draft 9th overall? Really?

I hope not. I hope Irvin either does not know what he is talking about or he is smoke screening or Dallas has not really decided who they are taking yet. I think I have heard more names for what Dallas does with that first round pick than the last 10 years combined

Never been on board for Prince. As a matter of fact I have Jimmy Smith rated higher then him. And the funny thing is that there are players with character concerns that will be picked higher then him.

From what I heard is that Eagle fans are giddy that this guy is about to fall to them..

Hmm... I remember about two weeks ago, Norm asked Gosselin why Prince was about the only name we hadn't heard associated with the Cowboys, and Goose said maybe that was no coincidence.

Probably not, but it wouldn't surprise me that much, either.

I still bet a trade up for PP would be more likely. They were talking about how much Jerry loved him even before the Cotton Bowl.

I know Irvin was all over Dez during the NFLN draft coverage but I wouldnt take him for the kind of guy to take trusted info from high up and blab about it. He likes the Cowboys as much as we do. IMO sounds like hes just a fan of the kid
