Jerry, for all the perceived warts, has always circled the wagons with the best available to him...and given all that he had for the Cowboys.
He has over come it all, twice now, and I have always respected his dignity. I feel luck for his ownership...despite all the narrative baggage of doubters.

When you see owners nowadays that seem more worried about a buck than winning, you just got to love this guy.
He was selfish there for awhile in the sense that he wanted to do it his way. I think that is more out of stubbornness. He has evolved over time into a guy today that has some good ideas, some bad ideas...but he is willing to listen to everyone before making rash decisions.
The Roy Williams trade is probably the last Jerry pure Jerry move we will see.
Watch Jerry go ou and trade two firsts for a pass rusher this offseason after I type this...

Jerry is what right and good in football. It is hard to find a multi billionaire owner that truly gives a damn and he does.
