I am sorry. Were you there? A lot of cases get settled out of court. Doesnt mean anything. But my head is in the sand. Dont tag me anymore. I think we forget them quicker when they're retired. Whenever I see 88 out there it conjures thoughts of all the great wrs we had wear it. Out of sight, out of mind.

That's a valid point, at least when you're not in the stadium, seeing the jersey hanging from the rafters.

My wife was assaulted by 2 men at 2 different times in her life. I wasn't there for the Kobe thing but I know reactions and actions of victims so I believe something below belt happened. It's sad but that's my opinion ppl can like it or not but until you have to help put a woman back together then it changes perspective.

He apologized to his wife for adultery by the way. And if you took the time you would see that the reason he settled is because the person who accused him got eviscerated on the stand by his lawyer and she proposed a settlement which he agreed to. To move on with his life.

You dont know me either. Nor do you know the person who you decided to call a perv who literally died 2 years ago with his daughter in a horrific accident.

I see what you said about your wife. And that sucks. Ive been there. Personally and with a spouse who ended up overdosing on heroin. But that also doesnt mean you can judge someone who you have no knowledge of the action. Ive seen men who play nice and look perfect who are complete and utter horrible people. Kobe messed up by cheating on his wife yes. However. Nothing in his history says he assaulted anyone.

Depends on who you ask. Pearson and Irvin are both in the HOF and Drew wore it first. I associate it with both of them, two of my favorite players to watch.

Most victims have certain similar actions and reactions which that victim did show. I feel for children who lost a parent and a wife losing a husband that sucks nor did I wish harm to Kobe. My opinion was that he did something. Truth is you don't know him either or what he did or did not do. Thats why I said I didn't agree with Kobe but did agree on Robinson. I'm saying this simply because I worry about who you may alienate in your life in the future: You simply cannot determine one person's guilt or innocence based on the actions or reactions of someone else. Some people are very good actors, while others convince themselves of things that never actually happened. There's a very good reason why we say people are innocent until proven guilty.

I dont know if you saw in my post or just skimmed thru but I stated I have been thru sexual assault both as a victim and dealing with my ex fiancé who passed from a heroin addiction. So. Yes I have been in the situation. And I have seen the scum who victimize people. Kobe aint one of them. So he is either the greatest liar in history, or he was being extorted for money for cheating on his wife. Something that sadly happens way too often nowadays. Either way. You should never retire 88.. that should be a tradition to give that number to the best receiver on the team drafted by the Cowboys.. I’m sorry but that extra pressure is necessary. If they can’t live up to being a 88 then oh we’ll move on. We don’t need average players wearing 88. CD is barely fulfilling that responsibility atm. We can’t just hand that number out.

Shoulda gave him #10 like he wanted lol. 88 wiping nose after a first down , then dropping a catchable ball on the next play is not who I want wearing that Jersey.
