If you go to foxnews.com there is a video promo of tonight's show. It's short but gives you a flavor of what's gonna be said. Pretty much he is promoting the new series.

I wonder if the guy who actually wins the reality contest and gets the invite to the Cowboys training camp actually has a decent shot to possibly make the roster/PS?

It's a long shot, but it would be kind of cool.

It actually sounds like a decent reality show. I know some folks hate reality TV, but if you like football, I think it'll be some decent entertainment.

Snip from an article..

“Michael Irvin was a real down-to-earth type of dude,” Smith said. “He came in and said, ‘Do your part, I’ll do my part, and the last man standing will get a shot.’”

Smith, a 6-1, 196-pounder, runs the forty-yard dash in 4.48 seconds and can bench 225 pounds 16 times.

He called the show was fun but grueling. In one episode, Irvin drops off the contestants on the interstate and tells them to run the 8.5 miles back to the Cotton Bowl.

“Stuff like that, you really find out who wants to make this dream come true and who’s out there just messing around,” Smith said.

WG, just reading about the contestants, they all have interesting football backgrounds. Sometimes a good player can get left between the cracks.

Anyway, I think M Irvin would know a coachable, good player if he saw one for several weeks/months at a time.
